Riviera Del Sol is in the Mijas Costa area and is a 20 minute drive from Malaga airport. Calahonda is the nearest village and the apartment is only a short drive from, Marbella, Fuengorola, Benalmadina, and Torremolinos. Additional days rental will be calculated by division of the weekly rate by 7 and multiplied by the number of extra days. Golf Information: Our apartment has views over Miraflores golf, a challenging 18 hole course, designed by Falco Nardi, was opened in 1990. If you would like a trip to the driving range before your game the cost of 2 buckets of balls is about 5 Euros, again the driving range can be viewed from the apartment and is only a few minutes away in the car. The course measures 5240 metres, electric buggies can be hired and the clubhouse has a fine bar & restaurant. There is no need to stay local for your golf, as we are positioned in the heart of the, Costa Del Sol, with 40 quality golf courses within an hours drive.

Not Interested in golf: Riviera Del Sol is perfectly placed for tourist, being only a few minutes from the N340 motorway & the A7 Toll Highway. With Marinas at Cabapino, Fuengirola & Benalmadina there are vibrant communities within easy reach. Why not book a boat trip or take a ride on the cable car at Benalmadina. The surrounding Andalucian hills offer some spectacular sights. Mijas Pueblo is 20 minutes away, a traditional white village of much character, with its cobbled streets, donkey taxi's, restaurants and traditional shops. Leather goods are prominent in the shops and bargains are there to be had. The panoramic views from the ancient village of the Costa del Sol are magnificent. We are only 10 minutes from the Aqua Park, Fuengirola, 20 minutes from the Sea life Centre, or Tivola World (theme park) at Benalmadina. Go west towards Gibraltar for the day; it is only 1.25 hours drive away and well worth the effort. The marina ports of Marbella and Puerto Banus are also well worth a visit.

Bars & Restaurants: There is no shortage of restaurants to chose from, their are three in Miraflores, including an Italian and an Indian, these are in walking distance as are the restaurants in the village centre of Riviera Del Sol, although I prefer to get the car out. I believe that the beach restaurant under the underpass is pretty good. Just 2km away is Capapino, with its small marine and waterside restaurants, makes for a great evening out. The Thai- Chinese restaurant is great and offers excellent value.

We have stayed at this apartment twice in the last three years and had two great holidays. The apartment was clean, spacious, well maintained and has all the amenities you could possibly need.

The owner arranged for our taxi transfers to and from the airport making the start of the holidays relaxing and comfortable.

On our first visit we went as a family of four and the second visit as a party of seven with us booking a second apartment in the same complex.

We didn’t hire a car but sampled the delights of the Spanish public transport and taxis and we were able to visit Marbella and other resorts and beaches along the coast with ease. We also arranged a day trip to Gibraltar which was booked from the nearby country club.

On lazy days we would sunbath on the roof terrace or relax on the balcony whilst the kids swam. At night we would walk down to the beach followed by a meal at one of the local restaurants (We would recommend Da Vinci’s).

Our holidays were in August and October and the complex was never crowded or noisy on both occasions.

The value for money is exceptional


With two pools to keep the children happy and a large sun terrace to keep the adults content I would highly recommend you book.

Having stayed at this apartment in 2008 I would highly recommend you booking.

The booking was handled professionally by the owner and on arrival at the apartment we were met by their agentand the apartment was clean and very well presented.

The apartment is very well appointed and is a real home from home. The sun terrace is amazing for sun bathing or relaxing in the evening having a BBQ and a few glasses of Sangria!!

A car is advisable to get to the apartment from the airport but once your there the beach is within walking distance and there is good shops and restaurants all within the area.

Our holiday was very relaxing and I loved staying at this apartment and will be booking again for 2009 - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
