Sleeps 2/5. 1 bedroom self-catering budget apartment, very well equipped and tastefully furnished, terrace enjoying spectacular views of Mt Etna. Gated community with shared pool , far from traffic in the countryside. Ideal location for visiting east Sicily and Mt Etna for its easy access, at 400mts from the sea and a beautiful long beach through a private lane Quiet, peaceful, set on the eastern flank of Mount Etna, it enjoys spectacular views of the volcano. It’s located in the countryside among citrus groves but at only 1 km from towns and villages when you can find all the facilities you need. The apartment is on the first floor of a one floor building.There are two balconies opening in the living room and in the bedroom, and a terrace with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. There's a double bedroom, a sofa bed in the living room and we can add a folding bed or a cot on request .

  • The shared pool is usually open from mid-June to the first week of September , but the exact day of the opening is decided by the management and it does not depend on us. In 2009 the pool opened on 12th June and closed on the 13th September.

Notes: The air-conditioning works a a heater during the winter . The private parking place is at a few metres from the stairway going up to the apartment . The biulding has just one floor. The terrace furniture includes a table , four chairs, a sun-bed and two lounge chairs. There is also a balcony on the other side of the apartment that is accessible from the bedroom and the bathroom. The shared pool is usually open from mid-June to the first week of September( included ). The exact day of the opening can vary from year to year ( usually it's on a week-end) , it is decide by the management and so it does not depend on us.

It is well equipped , clean and very quiet.From the terrace it has a lovely view of the surrounding countryside , Etna and fields of citrus trees.It is located in a summertime beach resort that is mostly empty during the wintertime and is gated and secure. The owners are kind , trustworthy, very helpful and generous and are always available and willing to help.'
