Wonderful, cosy 1st floor apartment in the Heart of the charming Old Town. 2 minutes walk from the beach, Cours Saleya flower market and Promenade D'Anglais. Close to shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. Air con throughout, 2 bathrooms, shower and bathtub, self contained mezzanine double bedroom and comfortable sofa bed in the lounge. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and washing machine, microwave and table top oven/grill.

Nestled on a charming street in the Old Town between the picturesque Place Rossetti and Place du Palais. This is the central hub of the old town and seconds away you will find the Cours Saleya with it’s flower, food and antiques market and many restaurants and also the Promenade and beach. The bus station is approx. a 5 minute walk. The Port area with its fabulous restaurants and Antique quarter is a 10 minute walk along the picturesque Promenade. Across Place Massena central Nice is 5-10 minutes away and is not to be missed for its stunning Nicoise architecture and of course, shopping!

  • The lower level has a bathroom with full length bath and shower attachment, toilet, bidet and sink area. The upper mezzanine level has a full height shower cubicle, toilet and sink unit.

There is also a very comfortable double sofa bed in the lower living area. Each level has the added rare bonus of it’s own private bathroom with toilet and sink making it a practical and cost effective choice for 2 to 4 guests.

Excellent Location! But not a

The location is excellent for getting anywhere in Old Nice! We were just there from 16-30 Dec 2008. Please be aware that the description of this as a "One Bedroom" is somewhat misleading as in France it should be advertised as an "Efficiency" with a bed in a half height loft space. One can not stand in either the loft "bedroom" or the closet and must crawl on all fours. I would not recommend this for anyone with arthritis or who is over 1.5 m tall as I had to stoop to not hit my head in the entryway, loft and bathrooms.

The Heart of Old Nice

My husband and I have just returned from a one week holiday in Nice and we stayed at this lovely apartment. The apartment itself is small by north american standards, but it well deigned and has everything you could need; stove top, toaster oven, small fridge, microwave, washer/dryer, etc. a bonus is that this one has 2 bathrooms. The area felt as safe as any other city we have been in, common sense always prevails. The location is tremendous, if you intend on renting a vehicule the public parkings are close enough, 3 - 5 minutes walking distance. Sunday mornings are a treat, leave the windows open, if you haven't felt the French atmosphere by then, you will ... The down sides are the noise (no cars, just people and the odd scooters) , don't expect to be able to sleep with the windows open, unless you are used to it, however the apartment is equipped with air conditionning both on the main floor and a separate unit in the bedroom. The bedroom is situated on the second level, the stairwell to reach it is steep and narrow and you cannot stan upright in the bedroom nor in the adjacent storage area, where you would have your clothes and luggage. Therefore, anyone who has difficulty with their mobility would find this place challenging.

We were provided with a basket of essentials and general information which was useful.This was our first experience at renting an apartment for our holidays, it was positive and we are considering it for future travels.

Simon was very helpful and prompt as I had a number of questions prior to our arrival.

We loved Nice and it was our "pied à terre" for exploring the area.
