Brand new beautifully finished house! This is a lovely modern chalet-style house with many typical Austrian features. The wonderful wooden interior and Danish wood burner give the house a warm and cosy feel. Relax on the south-facing balcony and large wooden terrace and garden with BBQ. The location could not be more perfect! The village of Schüttdorf lies between Kaprun and Zell am See, so either is reached easily and quickly (there is even a small tram near the house that will take you to these places in minutes). The Schmittenhöhe ski lifts are only 400m from the house and the ski bus only 200m away. On your doorstep you have supermarkets, bakery, restaurants, banks and much more, yet the house is nicely tucked away, so you can relax in your own privacy. In the house itself you will find everything exceptionally well equipped with many luxuries such as free high speed wireless internet, entertainment system, UK TV incl. BBC, ITV, Channel4 etc, playstation console, 32' LCD TV...

The Areitbahn ski lifts (Schmittenhöhe ski area) are only 400m from the house (approx. 5 minute walk). If you wish to explore the Kitzsteinhorn glacier or other ski areas that this great region has to offer, just jump on the ski bus, which stops approx. 200m from the house. The slopes in the region are perfect for beginners, intermediates and experienced skiiers and snowboarders. We can recommend a good ski instructor if you want to advance your skills further! Local supermarket, bakery and banks are a 1 minute walk away There are quite a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk away, but the best of all (Pizzaria Antonio) is literlly less than a minute walk away and does brilliant Italian and Indian food!! Zell am See and Kaprun are both approx 10 minute drive away or you can use the 'Pinzgaubahn' (a small train) that stops a few steps away from the house and takes you to Zell am See, Kaprun and beyond The lake is a 10-15 minute walk away

Whether you want to have BBQs or simply relax, we will provide you with garden furniture, a BBQ etc to make your stay as memorable as possible. There is a great adventure playground near the house, which is close enough for you to watch your children, but far enough away not to be noisy in any way. The property is suitable for all ages, whether groups of friends or families. You will enjoy the 'home from home' feel and the many luxury extras we offer. The house is a strictly non-smoking property, not only for the comfort of other guests, but because the interior is made out of wood. Smoke detectors have been installed for your safety and piece of mind. Pets are not allowed in the house.

Das Haus ist einfach perfekt und bietet alles was man so braucht.
Von der Sonnenterasse bis zur Playstation für die Kleinen wurde an alles gedacht. Ich hoffe wir sehen uns wieder.

The chalet is exactly as described:beautiful! There's no need to go into details; the house was excellent from top to bottom. It is situated in a quiet area but is also very close (2-5min. walking distance) to the super market, bank, pharmacy, pubs, restaurants and much more. All the slopes in the region are very accessible with the ski bus system. But the best thing is, anything you need, the owners are very helpful, even if thousands of miles away.
Highly recommended!

An extremely comfortable, beautifully equipped and attractive house. We had a great holiday and enjoyed walking and boating around the lake, visiting Zell am See and Salzburg and taking the cable car up the mountains. Spectacular scenery. Our teenage daughters loved it also, especially the added benefit of the satellite TV and broadband! We hope to return.

Fantastic house for all year round holidays

The house was exactly as described. So close to everything we could not have wished for more.
The owner Melanie was very helpful and answered all our queries.
We would recommend the house to Families with children of all ages and groups of friends, even if you do not ski there is plenty to keep you occupied.
We look forward to visiting again very soon

Hey, danke für die tollen Tage bei euch, thanks for the nice days in your beautiful house. Everything was like described. We had also very luck with the weather, nice nice. We want to book again next year, maybe also this year in december.
