This beautiful villa with private pool is set in an elevated position with wonderful sea views in an area of unspoilt countryside. It is located a 10 minute walk from the centre of Esentepe, a charming village with shops and restaurants nestling at the foot of the Kyrenia mountain range. A 10 minute walk will take you to the local beach but many other sandy beaches are within an easy drive (including Turtle beach - famous nesting ground for Loggerhead and Greenback turtles). Kyrenia (Girne) is a 25 minute drive west along the coast road. It is the most famous and popular town in Northern Cyprus with its pretty horseshoe shaped harbour, Byzantine castle, rambling narrow streets, shops, bars and restaurants.

Golf Esentepe boasts a 18 hole championship golf course, academy, driving range and club house complete with restaurants, bar, pro shop, spa and fitness centre. It's a 3 mile drive from our villa. Travel 45 mins drive from Ercan airport. 90 min drive from Larnaca airport. Car hire is recommended. Distances 1 min drive (10 min walk) in to Esentepe village centre. 25 min drive from Kyrenia (Girne). 1 hour drive from Nicosia (Lefkosa). Further details Shops, post office, petrol station and restaurants in Esentepe. Several other local restaurants within short distance. Banks, supermarkets, sightseeing in Kyrenia. Water sports facilities available within 10 miles. Places of interest: Kyrenia castle, Bellapais Abbey, Hilarion castle

  • A deposit of 20% of the total rent charge is payable on booking. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to departure. A £150 refundable bond against breakages and damage is payable with your balance. This will be returned to you one week after the end of your holiday.

I travelled with my husband and 2 children and my mum and dad.
The villa is lovely in a very peaceful location.
Restaurants are within walking distance (most up hill) and are lovely traditional food for very good value. The locals are friendly.
It's like going back in time, not loads of tourists the beaches are practically empty it was great.
You will nead a car to get around but its very easy to find you way, some of the roads are un surfaced but most are fine.You must vist before it becomes spoilt if it ever does!

A GREAT EXPERIENCE

From the first discussions with Tina (owner), every issues was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The description and local ammenities were exactly as described and on arrival everything went like clockwork.

Our family consisted of 4 adults, one being our daughter the other her boyfriend. On arrival at the villa we were delighted with the condition, with ammenities being exactly as described.

Information pack on arrival was informative and precise, we ate 100 meters up the road on the first night, if looks could be deceiving, this place certainly was that, food local, fresh and great.

Transport is essential here, if you want to see the Island, roads are quiet, signage however is somewhat lacking, so get a good map.

Plenty to do, but not on your doorstep, so the car gets well used, but most things are within 30 minutes to 45 minutes drive awayand as mentioned driving is relaxing. Shouldl you wish to go the the norht of the Island allow a full day, anduse the roads on the east of the Island to get there.

Pool is great, surrounded areas and views are spectacular, weather, don't even worry yourelf on this one, constant sunshine form 7am till 7pm.

Don't miss Kyrenia and the castle in the mountain, do get out and visit local villages and restaurants, people are friendly, helpfull and you will not get riped off. Prices in kyrenia are slightly more expensive than in rural areas, hey! but this is what you would expect in any country.

I have already recommended the villa to a number of friends, so waht more can I say. Book early and enjoy every minute of this non tourist Island, it won't stay this way forever.
