This holiday property Casa Ciki), is situated in a delightful traditional village called Magomadas, near the charming little holiday resort of Bosa on the west coast of Sardinia. This is a little village with two bars, two small supermarkets, a pharmacy, a vinery, an excellent local restaurant, and a Pizzeria. There is very, very little English spoken either in Magomadas, Bosa or generally in this part of the island. The property has two good sized bedrooms with ceiling fans, a large living room, and a spacious kitchen diner. There is a terrace on the third floor, that has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, and furniture for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Bosa is only 7 kilometre's away, and this has numerous bars, shops and restaurants that are open all year. Nearby Bosa Marina has plenty of bars and restaurants but many are only open from May/June to October/November.   • The bathroom inside the house is reasonably spacious but has no bath - only a shower enclosure. Downstairs, just outisde the back door is a utility room, that contains a washing machine, toilet, shower and handbasin. It is excellent when returning from the beach. It is fine in spring, autumn and summer as an addtional bathroom but a little cold from November/December - March/April.

Notes: There is a bit of a step over the front door so it is not ideal for wheelchairs. The stairs are also fairly narrow so wheelchair access to the terrace is virtually impossible. There is an open staircase to the first floor so families with very young children should be aware of this. They would also need to be supervised on the balcony from the main bedroom and the third floor terrace which is quite high - hence the stunning views. There is no off street parking but more often than not you can park outside the house, or with a few metres of it anyway, even in the height of the season.

During our fortnight's stay the weather was very hot - in the high 30's/ low 40's. The accommodation provided a cool alternative to the heat of the day between excursions to the beach, Bosa etc. and in the warm evenings. Eating al fresco on the patio next to the kitchen was our norm with a stunning panoramic view over the valley from the vantage point of this hill-top village; the roof top was very popular for reading and siestas. The twin bedroom is adequately sized, the other rooms have very generous space. Furniture is good quality and everything works - we cooked for ouselves most evenings and didn't lack for suitable utensils and equipment. Bosa and Alghero are very attractive old towns. We enjoyed one of the small coves north of Bosa best of all - swimming with the fishes was warm and enjoyed by all the family. Fishing in the Bosa river for small bream and much bigger fish was great fun. The tango/ jazz event we attended in Bosa was outstanding quality. I thoroughly recommend the accommodation and the area.We would like to experience spring and September in this part of Sardinia. Bryn, the owner could not be more helpful.

Wir haben die 14 Tage in dem liebevoll hergerichteten Ferienhaus genossen. Das Haus entsprach der detaillierten Beschreibung des netten Hausherren - großes Wohnzimmer mit sich anschließender Küche, zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer, zwei Terrassen mit wunderbarem Ausblick ..... Saube und gepflegt.
Die nahen Strände von Bosa lugen immer wieder zum Schwimmen und Schnorcheln ein. Die Tipps des Hausherren waren super und sehr sehr hilfreich für die Tagesplanung. In der Umgebung befinden sich gute und vorallem preiswerte Pizzerien. Das Haus ist sehr gut für einen Familienurlaub geeignet.
Der Hausherr Bryn steht jederzeit für Rückfragen zr Verfügung und begleitet den Aufenthalt seiner Gäste per SMS.

Das Haus kann von uns vorbehaltslos empfohlen werden.
