We have a wonderful self catering apartment to rent in the exciting Bulgarian ski resort of Bansko that is ideally located between the base gondola station and Bansko old town, both being just a short walk (less than ten minutes). The apartment is part of a purpose built ski apartment complex designed specifically to meet the needs of skiers and boarders alike and we believe you'll find all of the facilities that you'll need to make your stay as relaxing as possible. The apartment is fully furnished and has the modern conveniences to make you feel at home and at 75m² this is also one of the most spacious 1 bedroom apartments you'll find in Bansko. The apartment sleeps a maximum of five people. The spacious bedroom includes a double bed, whilst the living room has one double sofa bed and a single armchair bed. The living room also includes a purpose built blanket box to store your bedding during the day with additional drawers for clothing.

Bansko provides an interesting combination of natural beauty mixed with the unique atmosphere of an ancient Bulgarian town. Whilst wandering through Bansko's quiet streets you will find a sense of peacefulness that emanates from the mountain peaks that surround the town. Obviously Bansko's outdoor activities are primarily based on and around its breathtaking slopes. The Pirin mountains have a predominantly Alpine character and boast three peaks towering above 2900 m. However, the slopes are perfectly equipped to offer runs and tracks to encapsulate all types of skiers from novices to experts. Bansko is a climatic mountain resort with a short summer and long winter. While Bansko is famous for skiing, snowboarding and extreme sports, its dramatic landscape acts as the perfect backdrop for activities including climbing, trekking, walking and mountaineering. Bulgaria is also tipped to be the future golf destination of southeast Europe.

  • A security deposit of £100 is also required, which will be returned after your holiday, less any deduction for damages.

New Year in Bansko

The apartment was perfect for our ski holiday over New Year. Clean, spacious, warm and comfortable. Good location. Only a short walk to the Old Town for access to shops and restaurants and a five minute walk to the Gondola, although I would recommend wearing shoes and carrying your ski boots.

The apartment staff were friendly and the set-up made it feel very secure.

The ski area was great, although when we were there they were suffering a severe lack of snow, which the snow cannons helped to make up for to some degree.

Difficult town to self cater in, as the local shops aren't really geared up to home cooking, but the restaurants are excellent. Such amazing home-cooked food. Meat, meat and more meat! Excellent.

Would definitley recommend this apartment to people heading to Bansko.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
