Smoking not allowed indoors. The villa is suitable for elderly and youngsters, but access to the bedrooms is via a spiral staircase with open treads, so is not easy for young children or the infirm. Kalkan is anyway a hilly town a reasonable level of health is necessary to really enjoy the location.

Villa Akkaya is situated at the end of a quiet road, making its location one of the most peaceful and romantic in Kalkan. The views are extraordinary and yet the walk to town is a comfortable 15 minute stroll and there you find a staggering range of high quality restaurants serving a mixture of turkish and western European cuisine to a very high standard. This is truly a sophisticated and 'grown-up' resort sometimes referred to as the San Tropez of Turkey. Akkaya's location really gets the most out of the resorts facilities
