Self-catering holiday rental in a very quiet, private location, just a short drive from the beaches and cliffs of the west Cornwall peninsula. The property comprises 3 adjacent buildings (rented as a single unit): two 18th century Cornish cottages and a new log cabin, providing very flexible accommodation for up to 12 people (DISCOUNTS FOR SMALLER GROUPS - PLEASE ENQUIRE). It has a fully equipped kitchen and vast, sunny lounge. The huge 2.5 acre garden, overlooked by no one and nestled among surrounding moorland, has a pond and teems with wildlife. It is within a 10-15 min drive from the shops, restaurants and galleries of Penzance and St Ives, the romantic villages and pubs of Zennor and Mousehole, and the famous fish market of Newlyn. Some of the best surfing beaches in England (Sennen, St Ives, Godrevy) are just 15-20 min away. Iron Age and Bronze Age sites (stone circles, quoits, roundhouses etc) abound and you can explore many on foot from the house.

Notes: Spacious sitting room (45 sq metres) is south-facing and very sunny, with glass frontage looking over garden towards Mounts Bay. 3 sofas, 2 armchairs, variety of other chairs, and large table for games, drawing etc. Large granite fireplace with log-burning stove. Large Sony digital TV (satellite). The studio cottage and fully insulated wood cabin have electric heaters. Cabin has pool table, video/Playstation, and a decked veranda overlooking the garden and surrounding countryside. The 2.5 acre garden is enclosed and completely secluded - lots of wildlife and perfect for football, cricket etc. Two teak tables seating 10-12, giant trampoline, badminton set and Webber bbq. There is a deep pond, which might be a hazard to young children. Linen and towels are available (£15 extra per person per week). Weekly cleaning service available (£60 extra). Parking for 3 cars - access via narrow farm lane, which can be bumpy!

Brilliant holiday for all the family.

This property suited all the family. Teenagers disappeared into the log cabin when they had finished playing cricket on the lawn. Younger children discovered countryside immediately around the house, picking blackberries and getting muddy. Book loving dad kept offering to shop in Penzance. Fantastic beaches within easy reach. Large, light living room was perfect for lounging in when weather was bad.
