Photos and Description of this Inca holiday cottage Perfect getaway for the health conscious

This picturesque independent accommodation is part of a large (6.5 hectares) organic farm. Being central on the island you are extremely well placed to explore in any direction. We are also well located for the many spectacular mountain hikes Mallorca has to offer. For the energetic we can also supply some bicycles. The accommodation has a covered deck with dining facilities and gas barbecue. Inside nothing has been spared in furnishing this space. The kitchen area is fully equipped. The rooms are compact but luxuriously furnished. The ceilings are low. There is one double bedroom and a small single bedroom. The accommodation has its own large garden with sun loungers and terrace. There is also a separate laundry room and shower room.

Our farm is about a 15 min walk from Llubi train station down a quiet country lane. Trains passing through Llubi currently run between Palma and Sa Pobla. By changing trains you can also reach Manacor and Soller.

Notes: Son Barrina boasts the largest organic shop on the island and we stock many organic products from England, Germany and Holland, as well as the bio-dynamically produced produce from the farm. We have two cows, Daisy and Hilda, as well as four sheep, chickens and ducks, cats and two dogs. The water reservoir doubles as a wonderful fresh water swimming pool, like a small lake, a pool for swimmers only being 4 m deep, but one, which you are welcome to share. A sandy area with net is available to use with the volleyball or badmington set available. There is a complete fitness room with a good variety of machines and free weights. We can arrange a personal trainer. Faxes can be sent and received in the shop. Wireless internet is also available. International phone calls can be made from the shop. The accommodation does have some electrical heating. The deck has clear waterproof panels which make it useable on rainy days too.

Please bear in mind that this is a farm and there are animals, including our two dogs who are very friendly. Doey is a labrador and Lucy is a small and sometimes naughty mongrel.

Sehr schöner Holzbungalow, komfortable Ausstattung mit Spülmaschine, Terrasse mit Liegen, Gasgrill usw.. Eigener Volleyballplatz und riesiger Swimmingpool. Absolute Ruhe in Zitronenplantage.
Idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen, Radtouren und Ausflüge zum Meer in alle Richtungen.
Großer Bio-Laden mit allen notwendigen Produkten zur Selbstverpflegung.
Sehr nette Gastgeber.

Relaxing Break

Everything in the property is brand new. Money has been spent on a quality kitchen and shower. The beds are exceptionally good. The furniture is leather. But the property is compact and not suitable for the very tall. The location on the farm is central, yet secluded. There is a wonderful peaceful feeling. We had no real desire to move from the peace of our terrace. This was a truly relaxing break. The owners are helpful and friendly.

Ein rundum schöner Urlaub

Wir (2 Freundinnen, Mitte 30) haben eine wunderschöne und erholsame Woche auf Son Barrina verbracht. Die kleine Holzhütte ist luxuriös und liebevoll ausgestattet. Die Biofarm ist weitläufig und hat ein schönes Angebot an Freizeitmöglichkeiten (Pool, Volleyball, Federball, Spielplatz, Räder etc.). Zusätzlich ist sie fernab von Lärm und Hektik und alles ist sehr gepflegt und geschmackvoll hergerichtet. Die gastfreundlichen Besitzer haben uns herzlich willkommen und den Urlaub zusätzlich verschönt. Auf der kleinen Terrasse kann man wunderbar entspannen und die Seele baumeln lassen. Oder man zieht sich die schönen Holzliegen unter einen der Olivenbäume. Der hauseigenen Bioladen ist sehr gut ausgestattet und läd zum Einkaufen und Genießen ein.

Während des Urlaubs haben wir die Zeit vergessen und auf unseren Touren über die Insel wunderschöne Eindrücke gesammelt. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub auf Son Barrina.

abgetaucht mitten auf der Insel

vorhanden ist eine neue und hochwertige ausstattung des für 3-4 Personen sehr gut ausreichenden bungalows mit großer, beschatteter terasse

der bungalow steht auf einem etwas abgeteilten teilweise baumbestandenen Aareal von ca. 3000 quadratemeter, dass man komplett übersehen kann und welches von Zypressen begrenzt wird

insgesamt ist es ein sehr großes, umzäuntes, ungefährliches gelände mit einem spielplatz, eingezäuntem schwimmbecken mit sauberem wasser ohne chlor, dafür mit fischen

zwei freilaufende, gepflegte und ungefährliche kuschelhunde spielen gern. Ein paar rinder, schafe und geflügel sind auf dem weitläufigen gelände auf koppeln untergebracht.

zusammen mit einem mietwagen macht die zentrale lage und die autobahn in ca. 5km entfernung die insel prima erfahrbar.
so ist man in 20 min in Alcudia, in 30 min in cala rajada und 40 min in palma

es gibt fahrräder zum ausleihen, strecken für kleinere fahrradtouren mit kindern auf abgelegen wegen sind vorhanden.

Die vermieter bewohnen und bewirtschaften auf dem Gelände einen biobauernhof ( v.a. pflanzlich), sind superfreundlich und schaffen wohlfühlklima, haben uns auch gut vorbereitet.
alle Angaben im Inserat waren zutreffend.

für individualtouristen nach unserer meinung sehr empfehlenswert, man kann hier prima die Seele baumeln lassen, kann sich von den touristenzentren zurückziehen. es herrscht zu allen tageszeiten keinerlei störender lärm.

einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auf dem gelände (bioladen), 2 km entfernt in llbui und für größere einkäufe in inca in ca. 6 km Entfernung vorhanden.
