This luxury Penthouse apartment set out over 2 floors & located at the centre of the resort, boasts the most magnificent views over the Mar Menor & overlooks the beautifully tended pool and landscaped gardens. Offering 3 separate terraces, you can dine on either side of the property with a full outdoor dining suite, Sunloungers and gas BBQ. Indoors you will find a comfortable lounge with TV (sky enabled), DVD player, stereo & ipod docking station. The well equipped kitchen has a large oven, hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave. All bedrooms and bathroom are of exceptionally high quality with furnishings to match. There are 3 pools to choose from, 2 outdoors and 1 indoors with Jacuzzi for cooler weather. There is also a gym for use by residents only. The La Manga Spa is renowned and is a 2 minute drive away. Although a car is not necessary, to explore the delights of the whole resorts' amenities, it is advisable

Notes: All 3 pools, Jacuzzi and Gymnasium are communal. There are ample towels for indoor and outdoor use to save much needed suitcase space, we would ask that you wash and dry these and replace upon departure - thank you in advance. A maid for daily/weekly use can be made available but this will be an additional charge - please ask for details Although the property is perfectly suitable for children and elderly, please be aware of the staircase to the mezzanine floor (this could be hazardous for curious toddlers, although I have a 3 year old and have experienced no accidents!)

Academies: During the School holidays, professional coaching in the Academy's is given to youngsters from 3 to 16 in Football, Rugby and Cricket. It is best to book in advance to secure a place. Details can be given upon request. From personal experience these Academies are excellent for youngsters to indulge their passions and meet like minded boys/girls. Approx cost of these academies are 180 Euros (correct as of Jan 2008) per child. There are also Dance Academies for girls located within the complex also.

Car Hire: For those wishing to rent a car, especially during high season, it is best to book in advance. Using the on-resort car hire firm will also enable a pick up from the airport upon arrival (normal taxi rates apply at approx 55 Euros) if booked in advance. Similarly should you require a larger taxi (ie 7 seater) please ensure you let them know when booking.

I stayed in this apartment for a week over half term and found it to be kitted out to a much higher standard than other properties that I have rented in La Manga.

Towels are provided for indoor and poor use which is a great space saver and there is more than enough cutlery and crockery so you're not continually washing.

The beds, unlike others, are very comfortable and the double is a king so no squashing up! The wind down shutters on the windows mean that you are not woken by the sun and ensures that children sleep after late Spanish nights!

The TV has satellite with a fantastic selection of many of the prime channels and there is a wide selection of books. There is a CD player and there are even a couple of games!

Being in a penthouse means that you don't suffer the ususal Los Olivos problem of noise from the solid floors above and having 3 rooms means that you can separate children if one needs to get up early for tennis or is an early riser.

All in all, a great place to stay, in great condition and very nicely furnished and kitted out. Thank you very much!
