This beautiful 4 bedroom cottage lies in a superb setting for those seeking peace and tranquillity surrounded by unspoilt countryside with magnificent unrestricted views over the countryside towards Hells Mouth Bay. Beautifully restored with plenty of space for two families to holiday together in the summer but just as romantic for couples to snuggle by a roaring log burning stove. The cottage is approached by its own country lane in an elevated position. The kitchen has quality finishing touches including granite worktops, range cooker and an impressive breakfast bar. The lounge/diner is spacious with a large L-shaped sofa and extending dining table seating 8. There is parking for several cars and possibly a boat. Whilst in a rural position, Abersoch is easily reached by car in 10 minutes where many up-markets restaurants, cafes, bars and shops can be found together with a very good beach. Abersoch provides many amusements - sailing, windsurfing, boat trips, golf to name a few

National Trust properties at Rhiw, Caernarfon and Conwy. Quad biking, ten pin bowling, go-carts, cinema all to be found in Pwllheli. There are many events such as the Abersoch Regatta Abersoch New Years Day Dip, Abersoch Jazz Festival and the Wake Festival running throughout the year,

Property Details

The property has everything you need for a perfect break. It is fully equipped for 8 people + baby. We have spent many weeks as a family on holiday in the UK and have made every effort to make this a welcoming and good quality cottage for every age to enjoy. Special features are the real fire, 32' LCD TV with freeview. DVD player plus second LCD freeview TV with built in DVD player upstairs, large sofa dining table with leather chairs. Beautiful oak staircase to character crog loft. Spacious kitchen upgraded for 2008 season with luxury additions such as granite worktops, large range cooker and integrated appliances. Kitchen has been designed with a breakfast bar for informal sociable dining whilst appreciating surrounding views. Beds will all be made up with good quality linen and duvets and fluffy white towels are provided. Only need to bring beach towels. With the family in mind a new washing machine and dryer can be found in the boiler room.

A bit of heaven on earth...

Five stars. This is a peaceful and extremely comfortable retreat from the busy world we live in, and well worth the 6 hour drive from Surrey to get there.

Local people here are all so friendly and helpful. There is obviously plenty to see and do in the area, especially in high season - we visited in February and some things were shut - so we'd love to return in the summer months. However even in low season you will not be at a loss for interesting days out and the most beautiful countryside to enjoy. Besides you have the cottage to return to - and that is a real treat.

My daughter (7) cried as we left - and I don't blame her - there was a little bit of each of us that wanted to stay forever. We all recommend this cottage without any hesitation - I am certain you will adore it as much as we did. It was a joy to stay here.
