Our stay at Sea View Manor
Review Submitted: September 1, 2009
Date of Stay: June 2007
My family and i stayed here in 2007 before the accomodation was fully completed, BUT we were very very comfortable. So it must be even more comfortable now! Nina was there at the time and was a lovely, friendly, accomodating lady; very helpful and went out of her way to ensure our stay was as relaxed and pleasurable as possible. We had everything we needed, felt safe and secure at all times and had no complaints whatsoever.
The house was spacious and clean, with very well kept beautiful gardens and potted plants at the front. KERB APPEAL!!! I was in the master bedroom which has a large, comfortable bed, ensuite bathroom and a spacious balcony, such a wonderful way to start the day. We sat there first thing in the mornings watching the sun rise and the local people going about their daily business, and late in the evening having drinks and hanging out together. We had a wash room with washing machine, clothes pegs and wash baskets for our laundry; and an area out back where we hung our clothes out to dry. Which was great for me with a two year old who always seemed to be dirty! The area is peaceful, very close to the beach, where we bought fresh fish daily from local fisher men. We had easy access to the local town centre Duncans Square; where we were able to buy groceries, fresh fruit and veg, phone cards etc from local supermarkets. There is an ATM machine in the square as well as bars, bakeries, restaraunts, Western Union, Gambio [Money changer] and an internet cafe. However , if the local area is too limited for you, there are taxis on standby to take you to Falmouth or wherever you want to go..Nina will advise on local rates.
Overall, we had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay here and would return in a heartbeat!
