A beautiful villa with a few teething problems

Before our holiday began we had difficulty receiving replies to our emails from the owners regarding confirmation of money transfers and obtaining directions to the villa.
The villa itself was beautiful. However, although we were advised that air.con. or fans were not required we would disagree with this. At night you definatly needed one or the other in the bedrooms. Regarding the property description, the following was incorrect - there was a TV but not widescreen and no TV's were provided in the bedrooms. There was also no safe. One bedroom had an en-suit shower not bath.
Other problems we found was a lack of cooking equipment to cater for a full house. Also there was a terrible ant problem in two of the bedrooms which resulted in a few nights spent on the sofa as the ants were crawling along the headboard.
Owner's Response: We were very shocked to receive our first review to this beautiful newly appointed home and found it contained negative elements. It is in it's first year of rental and we agree there were one or two inaccuracies in the write up, such as the TV size and one of the bathrooms having only a shower and not a bath, however these have all been corrected now. Regarding administration delays, to date we’ve not received any complaints personally. We try to respond the same day to any email enquires and we're always available by telephone and even offer a call back service, so we pay for the telephone call. Regarding the alleged ant problem. We do get ants here in Spain during the summer months in the gardens, but control them by spraying and putting prevention barrier sprays around the properties. This will in 90% of cases be sufficient. However if guests or their children leave biscuits, crisps or other goodies open and readily available, even crumbs, the ants will come. We point this out all our guests and in 99% of cases the situation doesn't arise. Our aim is for our guests to have a fantastic holiday in a fantastic environment and we usually exceed guest’s expectations on all fronts
