A perfect beach location for those who want busy Barcelona and beautiful Costa Brava without the crowds or the distance. Combine city sites, thermal spas, sand and pool in this comfortable 100 sq. meter fully equipped apartment only a stones throw from Barcelona city centre and Montmelo Racetrack. You cannot get closer to the beach and the property is fully beach-prepared with beach towels, sun umbrellas, etc provided clean and ready for your use. The salon and multiple terraces provide plenty of space for true relaxation. The first floor location makes for non-fuss access to the community pool and beach. A bus stop directly in front of the building takes you directly to the train station/village centre - or you may prefer to make the 10 minute stroll along the pristine boardwalk instead. The apartment is equipped with all kitchen electro domestics to make your stay comfortable including private washer/dryer, clothesline, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. Just pack and go!

The quaint spa town of Caldes d'Estrac(Caldetes) is located on the Maresme coast with frequent trains to Barcelona city centre 35 minutes away. It was one of the first touristy towns of Catalunya thanks to its tranquillity, charm and unique offering of thermal spring spas right on the beach. To this day it remains a very desirable location for local residents, making for a very authentic Catalan experience. The 2.5 km stretch of beaches, divided into north and south side, are all well maintained, clean, wide and sandy. The north side has a more rustic and private flair and includes a nudist area for sunbathing, swimming and eating. The busier south side includes play areas for children, beach dining and volleyball nets for adults. Fresh water showers are available the length of the entire boardwalk which is perfect for jogging, strolling or just people watching. Easy access to highway, grocery, Premium Outlet shopping, Montmelo Racetrack and excursions to Girona, Costa Brava or France.

Recently we had the pleasure of visiting the beautiful city of Barcelona. We however did not want to stay in the hustle and the bustle of the city and wanted to escape to the seaside and enjoy the views of the beautiful mediterarean and slower pace. Our stay at this beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in Caldes d'Estrac provided just that. I woke every morning prior to the rest of my family and enjoyed a cup of tea and the view on the veranda overlooking the beautiful ocean. We would drive to the city - which was an easy commute of 30+ minutes and enjoy the sites or head north further up the Costa Brava for off the beaten track sites.
The owners of this lovely home were so completely accommodating.
We were pleasantly and warmly greeted and provided with numerous helpful tips and wonderful sites that our family of all ages would enjoy that made our visit all the more memorable.
We were personally guided to a food market and since the weather was predicted to be unpredictable provided with games and movies our family would enjoy.
Restaurants were within walking distance with spectacular views of the sea and the boat harbor that provided meals even my children fondly regard as the best.
Truly a wonderful adventure in Barcelona was had by our family and it all began at this lovely home by the sea! We only wish our stay was longer.

This place was just great. We (2 adults & 1 child (3 years) enjoyed it very much as the beach was just opposite the appartment and there was also a restaurant on the beach with good food. The flat had really everything you needed. (we only missed a regular coffee machine. However, it was also not mentioned that there is one...). Therefore, everything which was said to be found in the appartment, was there and more.. Also the owner was also very friendly and completely helpful. We definitely could not ask for more. We can surely recommend this flat to everyone...
