The 'Casa Angelico' has all you need for a wonderful Roman holiday: quiet, comfortable and cheap! The apartment has one room with double bed and a bed sofa with a beautiful view over the Monte Mario hill, a bathroom with shower and a little, but well furnished, kitchen for the morning breakfast or a pleasant dinner, if you are too tired after your roman day. In any case you'll find restaurants, pizzerie and trattorie as shops and supermarkets at a short distance from the apartment. But this is an extraordinary location this year! At walking distance there will be ' ROMA09', the 13th FINA World Championships planned from July 18th to August 2nd 2009. Last but not least, the Golden Gala Roma, Friday, July 10, 2009, the World Athletics Tour Standings. All this at walking distance from 'Casa Angelico'!

The Foro Italico is very near: the Italian Open Tennis Tournament (Masters Series), held here every year in May. The 2009 tournement will be held from the 25th April to 9th May 2009 (closing with the women's final). Football - or soccer - is Italy's (and probably the world's) most popular spectator sport. From the oldest to youngest generation, football has an unparalleled influence in the city of Rome. So, predictably, a football match in the Olympic Stadium, so near to the apartment, is something to see, and the new football season for the Serie A is not to be missed. But this is an extraordinary location this year! At walking distance there will be ' ROMA09', the 13th FINA World Championships planned from July 18th to August 2nd 2009. Don't loose them! And the RUGBY RBS 6 NATIONS TOURNAMENT 2009, will play at Flaminio Stadium the 14th March (Italy-Galles) and the 21st March (Italy-France).

Guter Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu entdecken

Die Wohnung ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt um Rom zu entdecken! Innenstadt und Supermärkte sind schnell zu erreichen. Die Bushaltestelle befindet sich direkt an der Straße vorm Haus.
Sehr guter und freundlicher Kontakt vor der Reise und auch in Rom konnten wir uns immer an die deutschsprachige Kontaktperson wenden.
Würde die Wohnung jederzeit wieder mieten, wirklich zu empfehlen.

Zentral gelegener Ausgangspunkt für Rom-Besucher

Das Apartment liegt verkehrsgünstig nördlich des Vatikan in der Nähe des Olympiastadiums. Es bestehen gute Verkehrsanbindungen (Bus, Bus-U-Bahn) an den Vatikan sowie die sonstige Innenstadt. Einkäufe können sowohl im nahegelegenen Supermarkt wie auch um die Piazza di Risorgimiento erledigt werden.

Das kleine Apartment in freundlicher Umgebung bietet sich insbesondere für Paare (für mehr Personen oder Reisende mit Kindern scheint es zu klein) an. Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war ausgesprochen verläßlich und gut. Im Apartment ist auch Informationsmaterial in mehreren Sprachen vorhanden. Einziger Wermutstropfen ist der fehlende Balkon bzw. Terrasse.

Die von anderen, früheren Reisenden angesprochene Mückenproblematik ist mittlerweile durch entsprechenden Insektenschutz entschärft. Übrigens (in Ergänzung zu dem von anderen Bewertern erwähnten Bügeleisen): auch ein Fön ist vorhanden!

Diese kleine Ferienwohnung ist durch und durch zu empfehlen. Sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und äusserst Verkehrsgünstig gelegen.
Die Betreuung durch den Vermieter war erstklassig, vom Buchungsablauf angefangen, bis zum "arrivederci" bei der Abreise am Flughafen.
Fazit: Besser geht es nicht!

Die Wohnung befindet sich ca. 30 Fußwegminuten vom Vatikan entfernt und hat eine Busverbindung dorthin fast vor der Haustüre. Wir waren eine Woche lang zu zweit in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. sie war sauber und gut eingerichtet. Unser Vermieter hat uns sehr gut betreut und war stets für uns ansprechbar und es gab auch eine deutschsprachige Ansprechpartnerin. Für Urlauber die einen mittleren
Komfortstandart wünschen ist diese Wohnung bestens geeignet.
Bei unserer nächsten Romreise würden wir wieder in der Casa Angelica
übernachten.

Alle Wege führen nach Rom

Für eine Romaufenthalt liegt die kleine Wohnung einfach super. Mit dem Bus ist man schnell im Zentrum und das eigene Auto ist in Rom sowieso nicht zu empfehlen.
Die Wohnung ist zwar klein, aber dafür mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Wir sind herzlich empfangen worden und konnten jederzeit bei Fragen den Vermieter anrufen. Auch gab es eine deutsch sprechende Kontaktperson, was uns so manches erleichterte.

Fazit: Es ist alles vorhanden für einen gelungenen Städtetripp, verkehrsgünstig gelegen, sauber und weiter zu empfehlen.
