Aigues Mortes lies on the Mediterranean coast, on the edge of the spectacular Carmargue national Park, famous for its vast wildlife, including white horses and pink flamingos. Thanks to its serene climate, the country around Aigues Mortes is a paradise for a high number of migrating birds. A gentle stroll takes you through the imposing ramparts and into the lovely, walled town of Aigues Mortes. Hugh choice of bars and restaurants. all very child-friendly and no need to worry about having to drive home. The Carmargue Nation park and Mediterranean Beaches only 10 minutes away.
