Spacious, detached villa in a peaceful location yet within minutes walk from Plan de La Tour village centre. Beautifully decorated interior with 4 double bedrooms (each with double bed) and additional double sofa bed on mezzanine. Two en suite bathrooms each with bath/sinks/ WC, one shower room and a further WC/cloakroom off main salon. The spacious, airy living and dining area has white linen sofas, additional seating and a TV (free to view satellite, BBC etc), DVD,and iPod dock. Large well equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. Outside there is a beautiful well tended garden, pool with steps into it and an authentic gravel boules pitch. There is a large well equipped summer kitchen with dining table and seating for 8, built in gas BBQ, sun awning, fridge, sink area and dishwasher. Plan de la Tour is a beautiful, unspoiled, Provencal village just 1 hour from Nice, 10 minutes from St Maxime and the coast and 20 minutes from StTropez by the ferry in St Maxime. Surrounded by peaceful vines, the village has many excellent restaurants, several boulangeries, a cafe as well as all the usual amenities such as a pharmacy, paper shop and tourist office etc. In addition to a bustling weekly market Plan de la Tour offers a great range of 'animations' during the summer months. There is a municipal tennis club and many beautiful walks and cycling trails. It is close to the tranquil hill villages of Grimaud and La Garde Freinet while being within easy reach of the coast with all its varied attractions. There is a large supermarket and the renowned Aqualand just 5 minutes away. It offers a beautiful and peaceful base for exploring Provence nd the Cote D'Azur.

La Mandarine holiday

We stayed at La Mandarine for the first 2 weeks in September and we were joined by our son and daughter for a week in the middle. We had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect with temperatures in the low 30s and totally clear skies.
La Mandarine is a lovely villa conveniently located within easy walking distance of Plan de la Tour and a short drive away from Sainte Maxime. Rachel and John have obviously put a lot of thought in to the decor and furnishings and it shows. The villa was clean and obviously well maintained.
The summer kitchen by the pool was where we ate all our meals and is a great facility. With the table tennis table and the boule pitch as well, you have the ingredients for a fun family holiday. There are more attractions for younger families in the Sainte Maxime area.
Plan de la Tour itself, is a charming village with small shops and restaurants perfectly adequate for everyday needs.
No holiday here is complete without a visit to San Tropez to view the yachts in the harbour and the boutique shops. Taking the ferry from Sainte Maxime across the bay is the easiest way to reach San Tropez.
Overall, a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a lovely villa within a great location, we would thoroughly recommend this property and we hope to return there ourselves.
