With a choice of small beaches in the resort centre and the simply breathtaking 11km of beautiful sand dunes just outside the resort, Fuerteventura's premier tourist resort, is simply bliss for watersports and beach loving holidaymakers. The largest and liveliest resort on the island with great facilities, a friendly atmosphere and plenty of windsurfing for the enthusiast. Once a sleepy fishing village, Corralejo has developed over the years to become Fuerteventura's principal resort. It is surrounded by turquoise waters, desert-like sand dunes and golden beaches which are over three kilometres wide in some places and stretch for almost ten kilometres. There are also plenty of shops and supermarkets for stocking up on local goods plus a wide range of bars and restaurants. Fuerteventura's liveliest resort, Corralejo offers a wide selection of restaurants and bars along with lots of watersports including scuba diving and windsurfing.

All 3 bedrooms have their own Hairdryers with small table and mirrors, perfect for applying makeup in the evenings.

Notes: This family home was designed with the intent for private use only, because we are such busy people the villa is going to be left empty a lot of the time so we made the decision to rent the villa out and let other people enjoy it. WEATHER: Being the closest of the Canary Islands to the Sahara coastline Fuerteventura has much more of the hot and dry African climate. Temperatures can regularly rise to 40 degrees centigrade in the peak summer months of July and August, with rainfall almost non-existent. Fuerteventura receives cooling trade winds throughout the year which makes the coastal areas excellent for water sports such as windsurfing. Winters are balmy and generally dry although there may be overcast and rainy days. Winter nights can be chilly.

BABYSITTING SERVICE: We can offer a child minding service in the evenings, Aine is from Ireland and is a fully qualified, and she works full time with a family in the area and has great references. CACHE Diploma in Childcare & Education Fetac (Level 5) Certificate in Childcare

This villa was excellent and everything was provided. We wanted for nothing! It was spacious and extremely well equipped. The pool was exactly the right temperature and there was ample room for sun-bathing.
It was on the edge of town which made driving out and about easy. The nightlife was just the right distance away so as not to be a bother but it was an easy walk to a vast choice of restaurants and bars. Having said that, there was a supermarket and restaurant almost on the doorstep for those not wanting to venture into town.
All-in-all we had a very very pleasant holiday and wouldn't hesitate to go back again and have already recommended it to other people.

Our family experience of Villa Margareta

We stayed in Villa Margareta in October 2008. "We" comprised 4 adults and 3 children aged 1, 3 and 5. The villa was clean, well cared for and had everything you would want; a heated pool, sun loungers around the pool as well as on a quiet area on the roof terrace(which had a beautiful sunset), tv's in and out side. It was also easy to keep clean. In addition to all this, when travelling with children, the little things make a big difference like access to a cot, highchair, bucket and spades, beach towels, washing machine and dryer, car (which was very handy for going to the beach) plus airport transfers with car seats.
This was our first holiday abroad with children so having all our pre-holiday jitter questions ansswered honestly and quickly also made the whole experience more pleasurable.
The only points I can make that can be vaguely negative is firstly, that, as with any where with a pool and children, you need to make sure that someone is with them at all times outside and make sure the doors are shut as there is no gate. This did not afect our holiday as a gated pool can lull you into a false sense of security.
Secondly, the villa is a little way out of town for little legs. We didn't feel the need to go out loads but taxis were very cheap and Corralejo town had lots of great restaurants and bars. For those of you with children, half way down the main strip is a restaurant on the beach which allows you to eat!
We has a great time, we loved the villa and would definately love to go again.

We have just returned from a fabulous week at the villa.The villa itself is perfect in every way.immaculate, tasteful decor and everything you could possibly need and more.We will certainly be booking this villa again and will recommend to all our family and friends.

Fantastic accomodation,you don't need to take a thing it's all there. You can't fail to have a good time..we'll be back again. Easily slept 2 couples and 2 teenagers.
