A Great Family Holiday

We had the most wonderful time at your villa, the holiday and transfers where perfect. We flew out on time from Manchester, arrived at Paphos 14:45,and there to greet us was …. with a card with my name on it. Within 15mins all seven of us are in his mini-bus and off we go. The transfer from Paphos to Coral Bay was not boring as ….. spoke very good English. We took a few short cuts through the town as he said the traffic along the front was busy.
The transfer from the Airport took about 45mins., but it was worth the wait. When …. turned into the road, leading to the Ascos Beach Hotel, I knew where we were. The Italian restaurant on the corner is where my wife and I had a lovely meal last year. The taxi driver shouted “here we are”. Well you could hear the gasps from the family sitting in the back. He reversed the bus right up to the front gate and we nearly left the taxi driver behind with the luggage in the rush to get to the villa. My daughter said to me "where's the key dad" and I had not given that a thought in all the excitement. We had a little scout around and then ….came to the rescue. He had said you had left a message, he told me about the key on the side and how to operate the alarm system. The girls had gone around the back to see the pool and view and left myself ,the lads and the taxi driver to carry the luggage down the steps. That done, I paid the taxi driver and arranged for him to pick us up on our departure date.
We got into the villa and straight away commented how vast it was, the cleanliness, the view from the patio terrace, not to forget the pool. The family sorted out the luggage and which bedrooms they wanted, got changed, showered and straight into the pool. We spent a good two hours in the pool, got changed and went into Coral Bay centre for something to eat. We ended up at another favorite of mine, the…… After the meal, we strolled(not rolled) back, a little fatigued after the days events. The pattern was much the same for the rest of the week, but a very relaxing holiday for everyone.
We did venture out on the local transport 80c one way, to Paphos or Kato Paphos a few days just to show the family the way the cypriot people go about their day ,in the markets and shops. The people of Cyprus are so helpful and obliging, I think that's why so many people want to live there.
The villa itself is brilliantly situated for the views, the closeness to the shops, bars and beaches. It is ideal because you don’t have to worry about a car to get about, the bus service is adequate and cheap. Most mornings I would get up and go for a walk(to clear my head) up to Peiya, or along the coastal path to the beach(Coral Bay), which is about three quarters of an hour away.
The pool was cleaned out while we where there, no problem. We found the rubbish bin outside the front gate, the cooker (we never used the microwave because we didn’t have to) and everything was there for our use. We could not find the hairdryer though, although I found the instruction booklet, but that was all! It did not spoil the holiday, the girls managed.
Lastly, I would definitely book this villa again in the future. My family and I had a fantastic time, the transfers, the whole thing could not have been better, and I don't think it will be long before you have lots more bookings from my other family members and friends. Cheers ……. for all the hard work in organising this brilliant holiday for my family. They will not forget it, I'm certain of that.
