Burrows Court offers self-catering accommodation in a fascinating three-storey building consisting of a Georgian-fronted mill-owners house believed to date back to the 13th Century. The building is now grade II listed and, while offering a high standard of comfort, has lost none of its unique character. The house adjoins the weaving-mill which is occupied by the owners. The accommodation comprises of a kitchen/diner, living-room, sitting-room, WC & laundry-room on the ground floor & 5 ensuite bedrooms (3 double, 1 twin & 1 family) on the 1st & 2nd floors. The setting of Burrows Court is one of its most attractive features. The garden is surrounded by open countryside with beautiful views of the Cotswold Edge. The house is ideally located for visits to the south Cotswold villages, Berkeley Castle, Westonbirt Arboretum and Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust while the historic cities of Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham & Gloucester are only 30 minutes drive away. There is ample parking.

Burrows Court is a 30 - 40 minute drive away from the historic cities of Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucester. Berkeley Castle is 5-10 minutes by car and Slimbridge Wildfowl Trust and the south Cotswold villages are all within easy reach. Our position, between juctions 13 & 14 of the M5 means Burrows Court is ideally located for a family/friend's reunion as it is easily reached from all parts of the country. There are 3 golf courses within a 10 minute drive and walkers may like to walk up to the Tyndale monument which is on the Cotswold Way from which there is (on a clear day) a view of 7 counties!

Notes to the rental rates

  • Weekend breaks are for 3 nights and run from Friday to Sunday inclusive.
    Midweek breaks are for 4 nights and run from Monday to Friday inclusive.
    Changeover days for weekly rentals are Fridays.
    1 dog is accepted per booking at a cost of £15 per week or part-week
    Bedlinen, towels and central heating/hot water are included in the rental price.
    A deposit of one third of the rental rate is taken at the time of booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before commencement of the rental. if the booking is made within 8 weeks of the start of the rental then the full amount is payable at the time of booking.
    Credit card details can be used to secure the booking and will be held for 5 working days to give time for a cheque to reach us. If payment is made by credit card (Mastercard or Visa) then there will be a 4% transaction charge.
    A security deposit of £150 is payable on arrival.

Arrival and Departure

The property will be available from 4pm on the day and arrival and must be vacated by 10am on the day of departure. The property will be cleaned between rentals but we ask that you leave the property and its contents clean and tidy.
