Photos and Description of this Gers holiday cottage Set in the grounds of an old Armagnac vineyard.

Self-catering cottage ideal for a rural getaway in SW France. Lovely in ground pool and 26 acres of private grounds between the Armagnac vineyards. The newly converted gite is set on an old Armagnac farm, which is home to English owners and their two children, aged 7 and 13 years old. Dubon is also home to many animals, dogs, cats, sheep and chickens. The immediate surrounding area is made up of woods, fields and vineyards - ideal for traditional family holidays. Because of the setting and landscape, we do not recommend our venue for toddlers or babies - 5 years old and upwards is suggested. B & B available upon request.

Nearest Airport: Pau at 70 Kilometres
Nearest Train: Nogaro at 13 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway: Both the A64 and A62 at 60 Kilometres
Nearest Beach: beach at 90.0 Kilometres

Situated not far from the busy town of Eauze and the healing waters of Barbotan les Thermes. Lourdes and the Pyrenees are Ihr30mins away, as are the beautiful Atlantic beaches (many ideal for surfing). The gite is situated in the bas armagnac region, home of some of the best brandy in the world. Mont de Marsan (30mins) is a huge city with all shops and facilities. The delightful city of Pau (55 Min's) is nestled at the foot of the Pyrenees.

Traditional family hol's: Unwind with the family by the in ground swimming pool or in the spa bath in 26 rural private acres, or why not try out some of the local restaurants, traditional courses landaises or visit the Formula 2 motor racing circuit at Nogaro. We have lots of animals such as cats, dogs, sheep and chickens which the kids enjoy feeding. You can even have freshly laid eggs for breakfast... Table tennis and badminton in the garden.

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful property which enjoys a tranquil, rustic setting. Wendy, Jonathan, Holly and Georges were marvellous hosts who made us feel immediately at home. We really enjoyed our rambles around the countryside, lazing by the pool, our day in the Pyrenees, watching the shooting stars in the clear summer skies and sampling the alternative therapies on offer.
The holiday was great value for money and we warmly recommend Dubon!!
