Casa Chloe in December was Good to Excellent
Review Submitted: June 24, 2008
Date of Stay: December 2007
We rented Casa Chloe for two weeks during December 2007 and several things contributed to our most enjoyable stay.
The weather was good but hours of daylight are limited at this time of year so longer, colder nights coupled with the steady Lanzarote breeze all combines to suck heat from any swimming pool. Nonetheless the pool never dropped below the advertised 28 degrees C. Some friends staying nearby could only attain 23 degrees C as a maximum which was uncomfortable, especially for their younger grandchildren.
We also enjoyed good quality furnishings, decent beds and comfy leather sofas, probably from Ikea. Satellite TV for the children came in useful occasionally.
Plenty of crockery, glasses, kitchen utensils etc. (e.g. 17 mugs, four chopping blocks, three corkscrews, several roasting tins plenty of plates - we could go on!) plus a decent dishwasher to boot meant we were never short of anything and we never needed to wash up by hand.
Your management company even called around voluntarily with some free inflatable toys for the swimming pool and they were good enough to provide us with some baby-sitting services at a reasonable cost so the adults could go out for the occasional posh meal without any little ones.
We have already recommended your villa to friends and we will readily book with you again.
Our ages range from 3 years to 63 years and we all enjoyed the holiday immensely. Just about anybody, young or old or even in between would like this Villa Holiday but maybe Playa Blanca would be a bit quiet for 'Teenagers or a Girls Getaway.' The pool has a gate which is pretty safe for kids and pets. The garden is secure and walled all round to stop any small child or pet wandering off unattended.
Yours sincerely Chris, Roger, Justine, Craig and last, smallest but never least, Jack.
