On our doorstep is Tregrehan Gardens, just a 5 minute walk, a lovely garden featuring Magnolias, camelias and lots more.
The Eden Project is 1 mile away on foot or 1.5 miles in the car. You cannot miss the experience.
The Lost Gardens of Heligan is another of the most popular gardens to visit within easy reach, 15 minutes away.
Trewithen Gardens is a must see! just 10 miles away this hidden gem is the best spring garden in Cornwall! Full of fantastic specimens. Lanhydrock Gardens and House is a fabulous day out! If you want to venture further a field, Trebah Gardens near Falmouth is outstanding! Andwhy not visit Trelissick Gardens near Truro, with it's fantastic walks, and the added chance to take a river cruise from the jetty!
Cornwall is known for many great things and it's gardens is on the top of the list along with the beaches!

Walkers:
We welcome walkers to enjoy many of Cornwall's nature walks inland as well as the many beautiful coastal walks all within easy access of Tregrehan.
For the keen walker, or even those who just fancy a gentle stroll. With the longest coastline in Britain encompassing ancient paths and ways. There will be a surprise around every corner!
Golf:
Golfing in Cornwall is superb with numerous courses inland and on the coast. Carlyon Bay, St.Austell, Lostwithiel and Lanhydrock are a must to play and are virtually on our doorstep. Porthpean Golf Course is a pay and play course which is a challenge for good golfers and beginners!
St Austell Bay Golf Club is under half a mile away from the cottage, views can be seen from the garden. This is a new 9 hole Par 3 course which has proved really popular. It certainly tests your short game! Not too easy! Can be walked in 3 -5 minutes.
