Brand new beautifully furnished apartment in a superb location on the popular Clube Albufeira resort. Ideal for your Summer holiday rental. The complex has four excellent pools, one of which is directly in front of the apartment. Each pool area has its own excellent restaurant or snack, all within a very short distance. You will enjoy a fully fitted kitchen, spacious lounge, dining area with patio doors leading to large, balcony overlooking the pool and beautifully landscaped gardens with perfectly manicured lawns. Somewhere for the children to play while in full view of the apartment. There are 2 bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom with a great jacuzzi bath. There is an additional family bathroom. The apartment is air conditioned for your comfort. Clube Albufeira has its own restaurants and bars. The Algarve shopping centre with hypermarket, cinema, bowling, range of shops and restaurants is only 5 minutes drive away. Beach and old town within reasonable walking distance.

The beautiful beaches of Albufeira are only 5 minutes drive away. Free shuttle bus four times a day to the quaint Old Town, but it is still within a reasonable walking distance. Taxis to and from the old town are approx 4 Euros and can be booked at reception. Many world class golf courses are within 20 to 40 minutes drive. Contact reception for fee discounts and reserved tee times. There are three pools, (one within 25 metres) each with its own snack bar or restaurant. Large south facing balcony overlooking the heated pool and gardens. Beautiful Old Albufeira approx 2 km, has shops, restaurants and beaches. Free Shuttle bus.

Notes: The kitchen is equipped with all mod cons, including Fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven, hob, toaster, kettle, juicer, and coffee machine. Everything you will ever need. Other facilities include a washing machine, dryer, clothes airer, iron and ironing board. The spacious lounge includes the dining area and has a double sofa bed, TV, DVD, table and seating for six. The furnishings are of a very high quality. Cosy Log fire, rarely needed, but excellent on Christmas day! There is a window seating area, and a selection of games. Towels and linen provided with towels changed mid week. Apartment cleaned at end of stay. Please provide your own pool and beach towels. The large South facing balcony has a parasol and table with 6 chairs A wonderful all round summer holiday site which has to be seen to be appreciated properly.

Other facilities: Clube Albufeira resort is centred around the excellent poolside restaurant and bar o 'O Pavillhao'. Menus include snacks to local and international cuisine. Regular BBQs and live entertainment throughout the summer. There 2 other pools and bars, one that is overlooked from the apartment and is heated at cooler times of year . The Club Reception is very useful with helpful staff who can arrange trips to all the local attractions. They will help with boat trips, visits further afield to Lisbon or Fatima and those closer to home like the Splash & Slide water park or Zoomarine. Golfing can be booked through reception on one of the many excellent golf courses on the Algarve. Other facilities locally include the Albufiera Campsite with is restaurant, regular disco, football pitch, tennis courts, another large pool & play area. A FREE shuttle bus provides transport to The Old Town of Albufereira and the nearby beaches on a regular basis.

Golf Details: Special Green Fees for Club Albufeira Guests are available for the following Golf Courses: VILAMOURA 1,2 AND 3 MILLENIUM, BALAIA, SALGADOS, VILA SOL, PINTA GRAMACHO, Only players wearing correct attire and soft spikes (no t-shirts) are allowed to play. Payment in cash required.

The appartment is really nice - well equipped and in excellent condition. It is on the first floor up a set of 20 or so steps with a balcony overlooking a lawned area with three round swimming pools (incl. a paddling pool for very young children). It is in a recently constructed phase of the resort and as a result further back from the main road and up a small hill which would be difficult for elderly/disabled to walk to from the reception area.

There are two other pool areas in the complex within a 5-10 minute walk. Small bars/cafes next to the pools provide snacks and reasonable evening meals.

The resort is a 40 minute taxi ride from the airport which cost us 30 Euros each way and a 10 minute bus ride from Albufeira (cost 1 Euro per person each way). Buses were pretty frequent (every half hour or so). Small shop within the resort and a good sized supermarket is a 15-20 minute walk away on the main road.

I would especially recommend this for families with children and young teenagers. We had an excellent and restful week swimming and sunbathing. A car isn't necessary if you're happy to stay local but if staying more than a week and/or wanting to explore the Algarve it would be useful.

The owners were very helpful and friendly - both before and after our visit.
