Newly refurbished air-conditioned fully-kitted self-catering cosy apartment with open plan kitchen,dining, living area and large veranda which overlooks olive and orange groves. Two bedrooms one with double bed, one with two singles. Bathroom has bath and shower. Washing machine and microwave,coffee machine, toaster. Fully equipped throughout including kitchen and towels and bed linen.Set within a small collection of privately owned apartments in the coastal town of Palea Epidavros. The apartment is on a hill side 10 minutes walk from charming port of Palea Epidavros and 20 minutes walk from Palea Epidavros beach. There is easy free parking although a car is not essential due to good transport links at the port. Suitable for up to 4 people and for long or short-term lets all year round. Underfloor heating and air-conditioning.

Epidavros port,a 10min walk, has a great choice of restaurants and bars. A popular hang out for local greek folk and tourists. Therefore the authentic greek atmosphere and tastes are preserved.Good bus links including to the theatre, Nafplio and Athens. Boat trips to local islands during summer. Further along on Palea Epidavros beach are 3 small hotels, beach bars and open-air disco. The area of Palea Epidavros is a cultural haven. The world famous ancient amphitheatre of Epidavros is 15mins drive or bus ride away and includes the museum of Asklipios(the ancient god of medicine). Between June and September you can watch the ancient greek plays under the stars. Nafplio is a stunning cosmopolitan town 45 mins drive away. Previously the capital of Greece it is now buzzing with great restaurants, hip bars and to die-for boutiques.By car there are atleast 8 different beaches within an hour's drive of the apartment, ranging from quiet and serene to thronging.

Notes: Time to drive from Athens airport approx 2 and 1/2 hours. Local area :Nightlife is good in the port with many bars cafes and restaurants. It is a popular hangout for local people and greek and foreign tourists.There is an open-air disco 'Capaki' which doesn't really get going until midnight and often goes until 6am.This is on the road leading to Palea Epidavros beach. Just before you enter the port on the right is a very good restaurant called Perivoli which means orchard in greek.Here one can eat under the orange trees a good and particularly wide variety of food. You can go into the kitchen and point out what you want. Another excellent and slightly more upmarket restaurant is Kalogerikon which means ‘the monk’ in greek. It is on the rough road to Palea Epidavros beach on the right before reaching Becas camping. It serves contemporary and ancient greek cuisine in fine surroundings with excellent house wine. Epidavros port has plenty of shops and supermarkets.

The apartment was exactly the same how it is described. Clean, wellmaintained, comfortable. It is ideal for families. You can find everything in the kitchen you would need during a holiday.The owners - Tonny and Siobhain - are very nice. Our favorite restaurant within 5 minutes walk under the orange trees. I recommend this property to our friends and we will stay here next time staying in Greece.
