Close by, La Manga del Mar Menor, is the narrow strip of land that separates the Mediterranean from the Mar Menor (Europe's largest saltwater lagoon), which is over 22 kilometres long and stretches from the fishing village of Cabo de Palos to the salt flats of San Pedro del Pinatar. With beaches fronting both the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor, the region is ideal for water sports, with numerous sailing centres offering lessons in windsurfing, waterskiing and sailing. The ancient City of Cartegena (20 kilometres) revolves around its port, which is one of the most important in Spain. Its history dates back 2200 years. The historic city of Murcia is only 45 minutes drive away with its famous 15th century 'Cathedral de Santa Maria'. The city is divided by the Segura River. Calblanque National Park has several beaches, there are many areas of natural beauty.

Absolutely awesome holiday location. Visited apartment 6 times over the last four years. Apartment is home from home and has everything you could ever want. Excellent condition and well furnished

There are Great restaurants , bars and those fantastic beaches with a tremendous summer buzz.

So, whether you looking for activities holiday......to relax under the sun or just looking to explore the local Culture.... the cathedral at Murcia is an absolute must. This apartment is a fabulous base.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Had a great time in this lovely apartment. Very well equipped with everything you can think of. Roof top a real sun trap and very private. Great base to explore Murcia with good road and airport links. Complex pool a real bonus with La Manga communal pool great for the kids and adults alike.

Fabulous accommodation. Lovely beach within walking distance. Good local restaurants. Go Carting really enjoyable. La Manga Club a MUST! Would strongly recommend for a Girlie Weekend.

Very nice and clean property. Local shops nearby, however car hire may be needed to fully explore the fantastic scenary in surrounding areas and beaches.
Walking distance to a beach, with the famous La Manga strip just 15 minutes away by car.
Go-karting was also good and I look forward to staying again in the near future.
