On The Rocks is a deluxe villa offering easy access to one of Virgin Gorda's most beautiful white-sand beaches, less than a 2-minute walk away. Nestled among giant boulders & tropical shade trees, On The Rocks offers 4 air-conditioned bedrooms in 3 circular pavilions, providing maximum privacy for guests.
The main pavilion, with French doors opening to the views, includes the Great Room's living & dining areas, as well as a stunning open-plan gourmet kitchen with curved granite counters, Wolf gas range & espresso/cappuccino maker. Furnishings are very comfortable throughout, with travertine floors & a semi-circular wooden ceiling providing accents. Sink-into sofas, West Indies colonial-style decor, artful lighting & media, and original art photography by the owner complete the main pavilion. Just outside, overlooking the shimmering Sir Francis Drake Channel with its panoply of yachts, is a covered alfresco dining patio with marble dining table, built-in grill & delightful hammock, sited to catch the cool island tradewinds.
On the Rocks' main pavilion also features the Rising Sun Suite, a king-bedded suite with 4-poster bed swathed in romantic netting, and French doors opening out onto a private garden patio. Rising Sun's bathroom offers twin sinks & a fabulous alfresco shower set among lush landscaping.
Outside the main pavilion, a coralstone terrace leads to the unique swimming pool, built around smooth boulders & boasting fiber-optic lighting and a water feature that cascades from a large rock into the pool. Alongside the pool is a 2-story guest pavilion with identical ensuite king bedrooms on each level, connected by a curved interior staircase. Overlooking the pool & gardens, each suite also features a romantic 4-poster bed & unique roofed shower. Walk right out to the pool from the Sea Breeze Suite, or enjoy the water views from the balcony of the High Tide Suite.
A stone walkway leads from the main villa to another separate pavilion, housing On The Rock's Tradewinds Suite. Furnished with 2 twin beds (or a king, with advance notice) and garden shower, this delightful suite features French doors opening onto a private patio, with hammock & comfortable seating overlooking the lawn & gardens.
On The Rocks is beautifully furnished & equipped, yet casually ideal for lazy days spent sunbathing by the pool, snorkeling in the gin-clear ocean off Little Trunk Bay beach, watching colorful sunsets or stargazing. Located within the exclusive enclave of Little Trunk Bay, On The Rocks is less than a 2-minute walk to a picture-perfect sandy beach, and is a convenient 5-minute drive to both Spanish Town (restaurants, shops, markets, watersports & interisland ferries) & The Baths (Virgin Gorda's most spectacular natural treasure).
On the Rocks provides a complimentary welcome basket upon arrival.
For friends & families traveling together, On The Rocks may be combined with nearby Sol y Sombra (MAV SOL) to accommodate up to 18 guests.
