Our 2 bedroom self catering apartment, which is attached to the main house, is a great base to explore the surrounding area. The apartment with its own separate entrance is set in a beautiful large enclosed garden offering plenty of shaded areas. The Lounge/ Kitchen/Diner is well equipped for all your needs, along with a TV DVD and CD player and a selection of books and games. Off the hallway is a bathroom and a separate utility room. The First double bedroom, has a wardrobe and chest of drawers 2 bedside tables and a light and airy feel, with a view of the garden and countryside, the second bedroom opens onto the terrace with a lovely view of the garden. We also have a cot and fold up bed on request. Outside in our large enclosed garden you can relax in the sun or take shade under the trees or covered terrace with a glass of wine or BBQ perfect after a days sightseeing,or take a dip and cool off in our plunge pool.

Notes to the rental rates

• A security deposit of 100 Euro is held on arrival and returned on day of departure after property has been checked.
  The rental rates include all bed linen and towels and electricity and weekly clean. A 25% deposit is needed to secure property and the balance to be paid 8 weeks before arrival.

We live on Site and will welcome you on arrival, and answer any questions that you may have. Before your arrival a grocery list will be sent to you and if you require any provisions we will only be too pleased to get these for you.

The Area

Cenac is set beside the river Dordogne and and offers some great walking routes and stunning scenery, we keep an information book in the apartment and any festivals/Markets or Fairs going on we will let you know. Domme is lovely Bastide town full of history and some fantastic restaurants, and stunning views , it's only a 5 minute drive or you can walk the route up from Cenac. If you fancy a day out on a canoe, Cenac offers this too, you can canoe along the river taking in the countryside and chateaux, and then relax by the riverside with picnic. Sarlat the medieval living Museum is a must, it has a fantastic market on Wednesday and Saturday, and its cobbled streets are alive with Restaurants, little shops, and street musicians, art galleries and the beautiful church of St Sacredos. Beynac and Roque le Gageac : medieval villages set in to the sides of rocks over looking the river offering beautiful views. The Perigord Noir is a photographer's dream, so don't forget yours
