The villa with golf course views is a spacious luxurious holiday home which will accommodate 6 people. The generous kitchen/dinning room layout comprises a fully fitted with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. Bed 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and ensuite toilet/shower room. Bed 2 & 3 have either a double bed or two single beds both having fitted wardrobes and are opposite to a second toilet/bathroom. The large lounge has a L shape leather sofa with 42” Plasma Satellite TV, this room also has a 3rd toilet / shower room with air con. The patio features a second dining area with a BBQ overlooks the enclosed garden and the beautiful, large private heated pool. Both the sun terraces offer premium viewing of the 2nd hole & fairways, it is perfect for sunbathing through the day or watching the golfers play their round while you sip on your refreshing cocktails.

The resort is situated in the Costa Calida Murcia region of Southern Spain and enjoys pleasant temperatures all year round The resort is just ten minutes by car from Murcia airport with daily flights from the UK. The location of Mar Menor Golf Resort on the Costa Calida is superb for family and golf holidays. It is just minutes away from miles of safe sandy beaches of the warm Mar Menor waters. There are many local restaurants and shops in nearby Los Alcazares. The resort is close to two cities, Murcia the capital of the region and the port of Cartagena. There are many beaches, familly days out and other cities that are of interst within a short driving distance so there is plenty to do off the resort to keep all ages entertained.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Booking notes £100 deposit, per week, is required to hold the villa. Full payment should be made eight weeks before arrival. Check in is at 4pm on the day of arrival and check out is at 11am on the day of departure, this can be discussed.
    Security deposit In addition, a separate £250 security deposit is required when booking. Please note: your security deposit is fully refundable within seven days after your holiday, providing there is no damage during your stay.
    If you require the pool to be heated there is an additional charge of £85 per week.
    A high chair and cot can be provided on request, starting from £10 a week.
    Cleaning charge is standard on all properties at a charge of 90 euros to be paid to the key holder.

We holidayed in July, one of the hottest months and were reliant on air conditioning as we have 2 young children. There is only air conditioning in the living room of the property, not anywhere else and it was unbearably hot inside the villa. The property description is quite specific in stating "fully serviced by air conditioning and central heating to every room". This is most definitely not the case and had we known the truth, we would not have rented this villa. I feel we have been mislead. The villa was in a good location however it was poorly equipped, especially in the kitchen, with very few utensils.
Owner's Response: In response to receiving 1 out of 5 as a rating purely on the basis of not having air con in rooms is very harsh for a 5 star resort it seems a shame that this person could not find anything positive to say about the villa, the garden the pool, the full sky tv package, the decor or even the resort as a whole.

Pesonally i take it with a pinch of salt as this the first complaint we have ever received about the property, also this customer asked for a discount before the rental, then sent the security deposit cheque £100 short and whilst on the holiday asked for a discount because we did not have a wok. We said NO and then received this review.

It is a shame but in life you cant always please everyone.

great villa , great pool in garden .Enjoyed the sky package
leather sofa was fantastic , kitchen was great only used it for breakfast , ate out most nights at the mar menor golf resort, loved the resturants , bars and the hotel pool.Overall very enjoyable experience , Andy the local rep and his wife were very helpfull.

I have just returned from the Mar Menor golf resort and had the pleasure of staying in this Villa.
The villa was decorated to an incredible standard and all of the beds were very comfortable, the lounge had a beautifull leather sofa that my husband enjoyed relaxing on whilst watching the Plasma tv to escape the sun.
The pool was clean and it was very usefull having an outdoor shower.
The villa was a stones throw away from the centre so it was great to just wander to the shops or the bars and restaurants during the evening.
The master bedroom was a real treat as we were able to relax at the table and chairs with a bottle of wine and watch the golfers on the second green.
All in all i cant wait to go back next year.
