Downstairs apartment sleeps six, with double bedroom, twin room and double bed settee in lounge. Satellite TV, Digital safe. Well equipped kitchen with microwave and washing machine. Raised patio with table and six chairs. Large tiled garden with parking facility. All bedding and towels provided. The nearest of two shared pools is at the end of our street. Gran Alacant is just 7mins from Alicante airport but not on the flight path. The apartment has views to the mountains and Carabasi beach is a 30min walk. Just a stroll away is the new Gran Alacant Centro Commercial which has a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarket. Benidorm is 45mins north east and Torrivieja 40mins south west with many interesting towns in between all with good weekly markets, beaches, beautiful coast lines and so much more. There are 7 golf courses within 30min drive. Six passenger car available with driver, if you want to get around but do not wish to hire a car.

The apartment is well situated in this beautiful part of Costa Blanca, just of the A332 which takes you for miles in both directions along the coast. A 10 min drive is the fishing village of Santa Pola with 15kms of coast line and sandy beaches offering safe swimming and all manner of water sports in its quiet bays. It also has a large twice weekly market plus shops, bars and restaurants along the sea front. Just 15mins away is the beautiful city of Alicante with the Santa Barbara Castle, harbour, beautiful promenade along the beach and the old town. Inland there are many places of interest and beauty, Elche, Guadalest and Murcia to name but a few. Benidorm is less than an hours drive followed by Altea with it's old town full of charm and a must see. If you do not wish to hire a car but would like to see some of the lovely parts of Spain I would be available to take up to six passengers anywhere you want to go for the duration of your stay.   • The bathroom is spacious and fully tiled with storage facilities and is conveniently situated between the two bedrooms. It has a full size bath with integrated shower. There are sufficient bath sheets and hand towels for all six occupants.

  • The double bedroom has two bedside cabinets and a large fitted wardrobe with drawers. The twin room has 2 single beds and a free standing double wardrobe with a tall set of drawers. There is a mattress type double bed settee in lounge area which is very comfortable and easy to erect. A privacy curtain has been provided as a screen from both bedrooms. All rooms are spacious and well presented and in an excellent state of cleanliness. There are insect blinds at the windows and ceiling fans in all rooms. Bedding is provided for the changing seasons.

Notes: There are just three steps into the apartment which may make it difficult for the very infirm. We have no problem with smokers but ask that the covered patio area is used and not inside the apartment. Parking can either be in the garden, on the street in front of the apartment or in a secure car park at the back of the property.

GOLF COURSES: There are 7 golf courses within a 30 min drive one of which was designed by Severiano Balesteros.

THEME PARKS: Benidorm has a variety of activity parks. There is the Aqualandia Water Park with activities for all the family. There are shades areas, cafés and restaurants. Mundomar Park is right next door with dolphins, seals and shows throughout the day. Just outside of Benidorm is the Terra Mitica theme park with rides galore. Trips can be arranged to all attractions and tickets bought from many outlets in Gran Alacant.

WATER SPORTS: Santa Pola offers all types of water sports with a centre that provided equipment and lessons in anything from canoeing to para gliding. Benidorm has a purpose built water skiing track.
