A Hidden Gem, lots of local attractions

My family & I recently stayed at the Paddocks holiday village in Midleton, East Cork. We had not previously been to this part of Ireland, and took a bit of gamble, but the childrens playground looked very attractive, so that swung it for us. Indeed the houses are lovely, located in a gated courtyard about 5 minutes from the town of Midleton.

Houses have good facilities are clean, nice & bright and the playground etc lived up to all the expectations. The Houses are restored stables and have alot f character.

Although the weather was poor for the week we did find lots & lots of attractions in the area, such as the Jameson Distillery, Cobh Heritage Centre, An Open Farm, Fota Island Wildlife Park, & pretty towns & villages like Youghal, Ballycotton, Shannagarry, lots of beaches, while Cork City is about 30 minutes away. While the owners provide alot of local knowledge.
