South facing detached villa

Sun Sea City Roldan is the place to be a 15 min. drive will take you to the sea 20 min. will have you in the heart of the historic city of Murcia or Cartagena. The villa is situated in a large Spanish village, just a few minutes walk from the town centre and ten minutes from Polaris World El Torre golf resort. Roldan has an old style Spanish town centre with a small weekly market. There are bars, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and much more. The communal pool is about 50 yards from the villa. The village has a regular bus service which will take you to the coast, cities or one of the many markets nearby. The World Health Organisation has declared Murcia the cleanest area in Spain with least industrial pollution. You have the choice of the Mediterranean Sea or the mineral rich Mar Menor with its 75 km.of fantastic beaches and crystal clear waters famous for their therapeutic properties. There are approx.10 golf courses within 45min drive including the world famous La Manga Club.

Modern south facing detached villa finished in 2006 to a good standard.The ground floor consists of lounge, dining and kitchen area which is open plan with stairs leading to upper floor. Two sofas and dining table with 6 chairs, coffee table and TV with English channels. There is air conditioning hot/cold and ceiling fan.The kitchen is fitted with electric oven and ceramic hob, washing machine, fridge freezer, microwave,toaster, kettle and the other normal things one would expect in a working kitchen. There is a downstairs bedroom and bathroom.The villa is very light and clean, a wonderful relaxing atmosphere surrounds you.

Roldan is located just 15 min. from Murcia airport and 50 min. from Alicante airport. The Autovia is just a few min drive away. Murcia being the capital of the province (county) offers a cosmopolitan atmosphere where traditional meets modern. It owes much of its heritage to the Moor (Arabs) who founded it in 825ad. and ruled it for almost 500 years. It has a magnificent cathedral and many historic buildings to visit. At night it comes alive, there is something to suit all ages and tastes. Cartagena was founded by the Carthageneses in 227bc. it rapidly became their main trading port, it was made famous by Hannibal and his elephants who landed with the intention of defeating the Romans. In September there is a three week festival reacting battles between the Romans and the Carthageneses. There is an abundance of architecture from ages past mingling with the modern day naval base keeping alive the relationship Cartagena has with the sea.
