Ljubljana - cute capital city of Slovenia: Ljubljana is a delightful, small city situated around a lovely river. Jugglers, street musicians and friends rendezvous at outdoor cafés clustered throughout the gently pulsing city. Smiles, banter and whiffs of food from sidewalk restaurants swirl through the air. Red tiled roofs, spirals and baroque churches all culminate in a lovely fortress perched atop a hill overlooking the small streets filled with medieval, baroque and Art Nouveau buildings.
The city is clean, accessible and friendly. On a sunny day, the streets and sidewalks are bustling with people of all ages. There is a fresh, young vibrancy in the air, people travel on bicycles, lounge around at cafés sipping coffee, dining on the edge of the river enjoying the healthy quality of life.
Close to all best attractions of Slovenia!: Our apartment is in 9th floor (10-floor-building), 3 km from the city-centre. City-centre is not on walking distance, but almost in front of the building there is bus-station and it takes you only 10 mins by bus to get to the centre and if you will come by car it only takes you 5 mins. For Ljubljana one or two days will be enough to indulge yourself walking across Ljubljanica river, drink a cup of coffee and to do all 'must-sees' of Ljubljana. So from our point of view it is really not necessary to look for an accommodation in the centre, where parking is everlasting problem, especially if you want to explore more Slovenia, not just the capital.
