This stunningly beautiful stone house is the perfect place to spend a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. La Garde Freinet is the gateway to the Gulf of St. Tropez. From the top of the old Fort Freinet (450m.), which towers over the Mediterranean basin, one can enjoy the panoramic view of the hills of Miremar, the plains of St. Clement, and the valley of Argens all the way to the Alps. This forest town is situated in the centre of the Massif des Maures. An area where you can make fine walks. The coast with St. Tropez and St. Maxime is near by as well as Port Grimaud. The area is also known for wine growing and you can visit many good wineyards not far from the house. If you have never visited Aix en Provence and Avignon and Arles then it is a very possible day trip.

The area offers many sports activities like swimming, biking, surfing, boating, golfing. There are many fantastic walking trips. Visiting the local villages with their markets and restaurants.
