Rosemary cottage is a delightful Grade II listed cottage set within the beautiful hamlet of Houghton Bridge on the river Arun. The cottage has been lovingly restored and tastefully furnished throughout to provide luxury self catering accommodation in the heart of the South Downs. This self catering accommodation includes two double bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom. There is a beautiful front garden and a pretty enclosed garden at the rear with bbq and seating for 6, perfect for your summer holiday rental. Just a stones throw from the station, village pub, riverside tearooms and restaurant, this cottage has all the local amenities you would expect from a much larger village, but still within a very rural setting. Ideally placed for walking holidays and cycling holidays, it makes the perfect base for exploring the delights of West Sussex. The world famous racecourse at Goodwood House is within easy reach as is the historic town of Arundel and the pretty boating village of Botham. If you rather stay closer to home there is plenty within a short walk, the picturesque village of Amberley, with its wonderful castle and Clymping beach is just 10 minutes away. Alternatively you can enjoy an idyllic and romantic holiday and not even leave the cottage apart from to enjoy the gardens and perhaps get a good meal at the local pub.
