Very beautiful traditional Haut Savoy farm built in 1912, magnificently renovated in 2007 to preserve its original appearance (ancient shingle roof, Juliet balconies and balustrades, old barn beams used for interior decor). This farm was built in 1912 by my great grandfather who made it his dream home: ideally situated, just 250 m from the village centre and the main shops, facing the south for sun and with a view of the surrounding mountains and the village of Samoens, in a very peaceful location much appreciated by the many tourists who have enjoyed this hundred-year-old property. The shuttle ski bus that stops just outside will take you to the best ski slopes in less than 8 minutes (1,600 m above sea level), where you’ll find 265 km of pistes at FLAINE, SAMOENS, MORILLON LES CARROZ SIXT.

1.453 ft² apartment on ground floor comprising fully equipped modern kitchen with bar, large living room with open fireplace and corner seating, and dining room in Savoy decor with old beams. This wonderful apartment has 4 separate bedrooms and caters for up to 9 persons with two bathrooms with shower and bath. It includes dishwasher and washing machine. There is a terrace where you can eat under the shade of leafy lime trees. There is a carport and private parking at no extra cost. Prices include bed linen, bed made on arrival and final cleaning. Keys are available from the owner on the day of arrival.

Samoens has long been a popular venue on the Grand Massif for skiers seeking open air and beautiful surroundings. Superb mountain scenery for sporting activities for young and old (alpine ski, ski school, tennis and walks all through the year). Samoens is a ski-station village surrounded by other famous ones in the Haut Savoy such as CHAMONIX and COMBOUX, and fantastic places to visit such as YVOIRE and ANNECY. GENEVA airport is 50 km away, CLUSES and ANNEMASSE railway stations and taxis are available for transport, or bring your car. Main shops (bakery, grocer, caterer, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, doctor’s surgery, etc ) are accessible on foot in five minutes in the charming village of SAMOENS.

  • Price includes electricity, water and heating, bed linen, beds made on arrival and final cleaning.

    We require a deposit of 25% and the remainder one month before arrival, but if paying from outside the Euro zone we will accept a bank transfer of the entire sum to defray bank charges.

    On arrival a breakages deposit of €1.300 is payable, which will be returned 15 days after departure on confirmation of the state of the apartment.

SAMOENS station has more than 165 miles of linked pistes in the beautiful GRAND MASSIF which also includes SIXT - MORILLON - LES CARROZ et FLAINE. From December to April you can ski at 5.250 ft to 8.202 feet altitude as you wish.

If you are planning a holiday in the French Alps, winter or summer, you simply must consider staying at this property.
It's renovated to a standard way above what you'd normally expect from a rental property and the owners are very attentive and clearly proud of what they have created.
Everything is as described and more, there's underfloor heating in most rooms and remote control shutters on the upper floor windows and doors. Plus all the major electronic items are top of the range Bosch appliances.
The cleanliness was second to none and beautifully maintained.
I would recommend this property to all my friends.
The only reasons for not giving an excellent rating were the very high deposit, although it's understandable, and there's no drying room for your ski coats and pants, etc. however there is a tumble dryer although thats not really convenient when 8 people share an appartment.
If you want a holiday to remember book this accomodation ASAP as once people get to know of it's quality it will become a difficult property to reserve.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
