Villa Pollentia is less than a 5 minute drive to the long golden beaches of Alcudia and Port of Pollensa. The golden bay of Alcudia is the biggest bay in Mallorca. Both beaches offer excellent water sports & Boat trips. Villa only 300 metres from the old historic walled town of Alcudia where you will find local shops, restaurants, chemists, banks, supermarkets, museums. Alcudia Water Park is a 5 min drive away. Pollensa town with its winding streets, ancient churches and famous 365 steps leading up to one of the many churches. Puig de Maria with years of history can be reached by car then on foot to the monastery with breathtaking views approx 20 mins drive away. Can Picafort with its pavement cafes and competition go-karting track approx 30 mins by car. Indoor gymnasium, indoor swimming pool, tennis, paddle courts, all within a 5 min car drive also shows/discos. Golf Alcanada (Alcudia) is a championship standard 18 hole golf course, with stunning sea views from almost every fairway.

Not to be left out, non players can enjoy a sumptuous lunch from the clubhouse terrace. Pollensa golf course is approx a 20 min drive away.

Walking / Trekking: Walking / Trekking The North of Mallorca with its vast mountain range is the prime walking country. Why not visit Mallorca in autumn and spring when the weather is cooler, and ideal for both walking and cycling. Why not walk or cycle around the S'Albufera Nature Park (Alcudia) it is the largest and most important wetland area in the Balearics. The area is a former lagoon separated from the sea by a belt of dunes, which for many centuries has filled up with sediments converting it into an extensive flood plain. The Natural Park, which stretches across some 1708 hectares of marsh and dune land is a protected conservation region. The area is an internationally protected area for wild birds, and is home to considerable wildlife.

Cycling: Cycling. Alcudia is the main centre for cycling, attracting thousands of cyclists to its bicycle friendly roads with its spectacular scenery. Even the casual cyclist can rent a bike here and enjoy many hours cycling along the specially designated cycle tracks which lie next to many major roads.
