San Roque is a top class PGA qualifying golf resort with 2x18 hole courses along with resort paddle/ tennis courts, restaurants, bars, beauty salon, health centre, dentist and hotel accommodation on the same site. The villa overlooks the 13th Tee and is located in a quiet, upmarket location 10 minutes from the beaches at Torreguadiaro or Alcaidesa by car. Located between Duquesa and Gibraltar in Sotogrande, 1.5 hours from Seville by car and in the midst of picturesque Andalucia there is plenty to do here. Great selection of beaches, restaurants, sea sports, sailing, historic white towns and Gibraltar, good shopping and easy commuting. 1hr from Malaga and Jerez airports, 20 minutes form Gibraltar airport so good flight access. You need a car to get to beach and shops. Fine for a quiet hen/romantic/golf weekend to arrive by taxi as you can walk to the resort clubhouse where there are 3 restaurants and to a local hotel.

W+When areas are grey we have provisional bookings awaiting confirmation. We hold bookings for 4 days to allow flights to be arranged and the rental agreement to be sent with a deposit. I update the site every couple of evenings at this busy time in the Spring. If an area i greyed out and you are interested do still enquire sometimes people do not confirm. | Notes: | The dining room seats 8. There is additional terrace seating for 8 to eat and sofas as well on the covered terraces. The house has a utility area with drying frame, the tumble drier is located there. The family leave dry supplies for guest use and replenishing. Toilet rolls and soap are supplied. There is a generous welcome pack to get you going on arrival you will be able to make supper or breakfast. There are marble floors throughout and most furniture is leather and suitable for families. The house is furnished as a 'home from home' location and very clean and well maintained. In 4 years of lettings we have had very pleasing and positive feedback. BB is 3MB speed. Cable is full SKY access so you can watch sport and soaps! PS2 and pool table. Weights. Teenage.adult bikes on site. Private unfenced pool can be heated to 30degrees. Communal pool unheated. Golf Access
The owners are members of San Roque and can secure reduced green fees and ready access to tee times in advance. You can arrange to play both the Old and New courses. The house is within a 10 minute drive of 5 other courses including Valderrama and Almenara also Alcaidesa's courses. The clubhouse has a putting green, you can book lessons with the golf pros on SRC or local courses, their is on site buggy hire and a driving range. Call to enquire.
Family Fun
The house is well equipped spacious and set up for children and adults. The pool ranges in depth from 0.8 to 1.4M wih a gradual fall. It has steps in and a seating area in the shallow end for the less able swimmers, it is kidney shaped and heated from October to April. Heating outside season is charged at £50/week. Within a 20 minutes drive you can visit shopping malls, several beaches, the sights of Gibralter, the marinas at Sotogrande and Duquesa. Within 40 mins drive you can sandsurf at Tarifa, windsurf or sail there too, or be in Puerto Banus people watching and shopping at Fendi. There are many wildlife attractions, concerts and festivals to attend. Note: Pool is not fenced and the floor is slippery non swimmers needs to be very vigilant. The internal doors are sliding and can be opened by young children so supervision is essential in this house. The garden is not fenced and children are not allowed to play on the course.
Comfort and Peace
The SRC is a residential development of low density. The building development is complete and you will be able to relax and listen to the sound of golfers and wildlife, you cannot hear cars or diggers and unlike many areas along the costa you are secure in a gated patrolled development away from the coast. This development is peaceful and the house overlooks green rolling countryside and fields to one side and the golf course to the other. It is a house designed for relaxation and comfort. There is a good supply of books, DVDs, CDs and an iPOD docking station available. You can watch TV, surf the net (bring your own laptop) or run or cycle around the track which crosses the development. The on site gym is only open to members but there is a municipal gym in town. There is a commercial centre on the resort with hair/beauty salon, cafe, French restaurant, bank, golf shop and homeware outlets, this is a gentle 15 minute walk from the house. The clubhouse is a 10 minute walk away.
