This first floor apartment is part of the Disentiserhof set at the eastern end of the village. Stunning views of the mountains are gained from the balcony. Sleeps 4 people. Bedroom with 2 beds and double sofa bed in living room. Disentis has extensive lifts reaching to 3000m, the next village of Sedrun has a range of lifts going up to 2200m. It is also possible to drive, approx. 30mins to the very extensive ski resort of Laax/Flims. There are also a range of smaller ski slopes between Disentis and Laax. these include Brigels, Obersaxen.

The apartment is situated in a hotel complex at the eastern end of the valley and the west facing balcony overlooks the village and surrounding mountains, where you can relax in the afternoon sun and take in the stunning views. Summer times means the opportunity to take a cable car and enjoy one of the many mountain walks especially at the top of the Oberalp pass where you can walk to the head of the Rhine. You can explore the area by car or mountain railway which links to many resorts such as Zermatt and St. Moritz. By car you can cross a high mountain pass into the southern most canton of Switzerland which borders the Italian Lakes of Lugano, Como and Maggiori, all can be reached in under two hours. Winter and the arrive of snow at Christmas gives you the choice of skiing in Disentis (ski bus first pick up is at the apartment) or going to the next village by car or train for lifts that go up to 2500m.

Skiing Information:
The Hotel has skirooms to store skis and boots in, and is the beginning of the Post Bus route to the main gondala. Skiing in Disentis is good with lifts rising to 3000m, alternative slopes can be found in the nearby village of Sedrun. This can be reached by car or via the Glacier express which runs from the village to Sedrun and on further westwards to Oberalp Pass and then Andermatt. To the east of Disentis can be found the resorts of Obersaxen and Brigels, and the combined resorts of Laax/Flims.
