The Algarve:
There are many reasons to visit the Algarve: a warm, sunny climate that usually enjoys a lovely breeze, some of the best beaches in Europe, numerous quality golf courses, and a relaxed atmosphere. The Western side of the Algarve is less developed than areas nearer to the airport: the motorway to this area only opened a few year's ago. If you take a trip to the spectacular coastline at Cape St Vincent you will be at the most south-westerly point of mainland Europe and this area is steeped in naval history.
Other places to visit include the picturesque mountain spa town of Monchique; the quaint fishing village of Burgau; the Barragem de Bravura near Odiaxere, where you can swim in the dam's eucalyptus-scented water and the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Megalithic monuments at Evora.

The villa is very well located at Boavista, in fact it was a show home for the resort. There are great views from both the front and the back of the villa. You are steps away from the beautiful pool and the relaxing sunbathing area that surrounds the pool. There are two communal pools at Boavista and the pool opposite the villa is the newer and larger of these two pools. The villa is on a cul-de-sac, so only cars that belong to the homes around the pool pass by, making it a safe area for children. The recently opened clubhouse/bar/restaurant, inside pool, gym and spa are about a ten minute walk from the villa. The coffee house/restaurant called 'Monte's' is about 10/15 minutes walk away.
