Activities:
In the area we have great opportunities for mountain hiking and biking. We have Europe's largest gliding air field. There are several places you can do horse riding. All the villages have public tennis courts. The lake Lac St. Cassian offers rentals of paddle boats, canoes, rowing and fishing.
Villages:
The area just west of Cannes is part of the true Provence. You will find the small old villages with their narrow streets and the local markets romantic and charming. Each village has its own charm with the town square as the centre of the village. In Fayence only 10 min away you have market three times a week. The markets are always an event. This is where people meet and you will find all the local specialities. In the village you will find the cafés, which are a very important part of life in the South of France. This is where you stop for a cup of coffee or a glass of chilled rose. On Sundays you can watch the old men play Petang or boule.
Restaurants :
There are many small restaurants which offer the local specialities and all have good food. Then we have more upscale restaurants and finally we have three restaurants in the area that have won a star in the Michellin guide.
You can find a small restaurant that is ideal for the family and who welcomes children or if you prefer there are the elegant restaurants. To day it is also possible to find ethnic restaurants like Thai and Mexican.
The coast is so close that it would be easy to go there for a nice meal but you actually don't need to we can offer everything right in this area.
Golf:
Two new 18 hole golf courses on teh Four Season Resort Terre Blanche only a few minutes from the 'domaine'. Within an hour you can reach at least another 10 courses. This is paradise for golfers.
