It is ideally located for golfers & families just 2 min drive away from the award wininng beaches of the Mar Menor, Costa Calida. The nearest town of Los Alcazares is 2 mins away & has access to a large range of shops, bars & restaurants. It is set on the Mar Menor, the largest natural seawater lagoon in Europe. Close to the apartment you will find a superb beaches, sailing, water skiing, boat hire, wind surfing, fishing, cycling, a sports center, scuba diving, shopping areas, supermarkets and numerous restaurants & bars. In the nearby areas you will find horse riding, historic sites, nature reserves and the famous mud baths at Lo Pagan. For the shopping fashionistas there are two Centro Commercials close to Murcia, easily accessible via the motorway and within a 45 min drive Newly opened is Terra natura at Murcia 35 min drive & family fun!

Roda Beach Club: Roda Golf & Beach Resort opened the luxurious & exclusive Beach Club in July 2008, situated on the La Manga Del Mar Menor penisula, with beach access to both the Mar Menor and Mediterranean Sea. You can swim or try water sports in the warm ocean or relax by the swimming pool. Guests at our apartment can make use of the facilities at the beach club, private pool with jacuzzi, private beach on the Mediterranean sea, bar & restaurant, changing rooms with lockers. The Beach Club is accessible via coach & ferry directly from Roda Golf resort

Excellent Holiday at Roda

We spent 7 days at this outstanding apartment. The location is perfect - 5 minute walk to the mini-market (well stocked) and 7 minutes to the golf club house. The apartment is beautifully decorated - a real home from home. Seven steps from the patio area is the swimming pool - so handy. We had 4 sunbeds on the patio which we took to the edge of the pool and spent the day in the glorious sunshine. Dave and Lynda, the apartment owners, are so helpful and friendly. We e-mailed them regularly before our visit and they were very quick to answer any questions we asked. They left a set of golf clubs in the apartment for my husband to use which was ideal. On arrival the agent, also called Linda, was extremely helpful and offered us her husband's set of golf clubs for my son to use. We accepted this offer and Joe and Jonny played 3 rounds of golf during our week. The course was in excellent condition and facilities in the club house were also excellent. At night we walked into the plaza (20 min walk) which gave us a choice of good restaurants and pubs. Walking 5 mins from the apartment in the opposite direction took us to 'Campbell's Bar'. Here we had the best meal of our holiday and the adjoining pub had live music which we all really enjoyed. One day we walked 30 minutes to the beach - another enjoyable day. I would recommend this apartment for a thoroughly enjoyable break in the sun.
