Review Submitted: August 16, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
This is a charming French style original two-storey townhouse with a perfect location in a friendly village of 1,200 people. If you want to avoid the busyness of Bordeaux, and yet access the scene in just one hour's drive, then we recommend this home. We were thrilled to spend one month here, making Monsegur our homebase to
explore the Aquitaine region. It is fan cooled for the hot days, and
has a wood burning stove for chillier months. The quaint stone-walled courtyard decorated with plants and flowers was our favourite spot for relaxing and enjoying a glass of Bordeaux wine. We would return again. ~ The Deans, Canmore, AB. Canada

My wife mysel, and another couple spent a wonderful 10 days in Monsegur,we found the house and the town everything we had hoped for and more, from wonderful markets and towns to visit just a short drive away to all the delights of Monsegur and then the Medieval house with plenty of room and facilities to provide a very comfortable and relaxing stay, in the end the highlight of our six week Europe holiday.

A Great Vacation Spot

Review Submitted: October 17, 2010 Date of Stay: October 2010
My wife and two friends stayed here for six days. A great affordable spot, and right in the heart of the picturesque village of Monsegur. Locals were very friendly and seemed to understand my very poor French, or so I thought. Monsegur is only an hour, and a bit from Bordeaux so day trips were easy. Countryside was magnificent and weather to match. We'll definitely be returning to this part of France again, and these accomondations for sure!

Super holiday home

Review Submitted: August 31, 2010 Date of Stay: May 2010
We stayed at this town house with another couple for 2 weeks in May. It was all we expected and more. A delightful quaint house close to the town square with attractive rooms and all required amenities. The patio is a great feature. We can heartily recommend the property and will return one day. The owner's agents were friendly and helpful and maintain the house to a high standard. The excellent photos give a very good idea of the standard of the property.

A really lovely holiday house

Review Submitted: August 30, 2010 Date of Stay: August 2010
A delightful house in a lovely french village. Location was perfect, just a short stroll to the town square where there was lots of entertainment, a lovely evening market and bars and restaurants. People were very friendly. The house was clean and spacious and contained just about everything you could need (even down to spare light bulbs). Pretty courtyard garden which is perfect for that evening glass of local wine.
Owners called in to see if we needed anything and were very friendly, would definately stay there again.
