From the railway station Santa Lucia and from Piazzale Roma (the main parking area): by private WATER TAXI directly to the Residence in Campo della Fava. We suggest you to settle the price before embarking and to check that the taxi is authorized (it must have a yellow stripe on its side and a black license number on this stripe). Or take the VAPORETTO (the public mean of transport) line n. 2 along the Grand Canal, and get off at the Rialto stop. From the Rialto stop, take Calle Mazzini, which will be in front of you when you walk off the landing. Walk along Calle Mazzini to Campo San Salvador, turn left toward Mercerie 2 Aprile, then right to Calle degli Stagneri, opposite the Benetton Store. Cross the bridge at the end of Calle degli Stagneri and you will be in Campo della Fava. The first door on your right by the canal is Ca' Foscolo residence, number 5526.
