The property is located right on the beach and pays homage to its fantastic sky and sea views and reflects its closeness to nature and the environment in both layout and décor. The white walls and wooden floors with seaside chic furniture giving a calm and relaxed atmosphere. This beach house comfortably accommodates 8 people with its large lounge and sun room inside as well as its patio's, veranda and gardens outside. There are extensive shallows at low tide when power kites can often be spotted. Ideal at any time of year as the living room has a large log burner to cosy up in front of and a wide screen TV to watch a DVD after a brisk beach walk on autumn or winter days.

Camber is renowned for its beautiful beach and back drop of sand dunes which have been used for scenes in many films and magazine photo-shoots. This two and a half mile stretch of golden sands was voted number 9 of the 100 Best Beaches in the World by The Sunday Times Travel Magazine. The village itself lies along a protected coastline between the towns of Lydd and historical Rye. Because of its unique setting local amenities are centred around beach life, country walks and water sports such as kite and windsurfing. These types of activities can be learned at local centres. There are local golf courses as well as Lydd airport which offers a number of fly/dine and day trips. The beautiful cinque port of Rye is only a couple miles away offering wonderful views of the surrounding countryside as well as quaint tea rooms and restaurants and a host of antique, bric a brac, book shops and art galleries.

Great weekend at the Suttons

We recently had an extended weekend at The Suttons Beach House and had a great time.
The trip down on Friday was in typical English weather but on arrival the house was cosy and with a cup of tea we saw the first of those spectacular sea views behind the comfort of some glass.
Saturday dawned with sunshine, which was sparkling through the bedroom windows. A quick peak out showed a different world from the night before with a beach as far as the eye could see. The tide was out but there were some early starters in evidence on their kite powered surf boards and fitness addicts getting the miles in. The bedroom windows opened onto a large sun deck and stepping out, I now watched the world from my vantage point, with plenty of fresh air as well.
One of our group had decided to cook breakfast and we had our meal on the terrace which with its sea worn look mingled with the beach – in fact it was like having our breakfast on the beach but with a bit of luxury thrown in!
The good weather continued on Sunday and we decided to explore. A short drive up the road was Rye. We took in the history mixed with a Latte and cake before a tour along the coast until we got to Dungeness and perhaps the best fish and chips in the world. All along our route we noted places we would like to visit when we come back – as I am sure we will!
Back to the house and an evening walk along the beach, walking off the food and collecting stones and shells and mentally preparing for Monday and back to reality.

One of the best views ever!

This is a beautifully kept house, stylishly decorated but with a welcoming, user-friendly feel and the most comfortable beds that I have come across in a holiday rental. The view from each bedroom and the spacious lounge and conservatory is that of sea and beach transporting you to anywhere in the world; it definitely has the 'wow' factor! The house was extremely clean and well-stocked with utensils, etc, and an impressive number of appliances to make our stay feel quite luxurious whether we chose to cook for ourselves or tear ourselves away briefly in order to buy a take-away. There`s a lot of information, provided by the owners, of local attractions, restaurants, etc. and dealing with them personally was a pleasure. I would definitely recommend The Suttons Beach House to friends, relatives and anyone wanting five-star comfort with a glorious view.

This must be the best location for a holiday home close to London !
I adored waking up directly by the sea, watching the ever changing scenery and listening to the seagulls.
This house is beautiful and extremely comfortable. You are guaranteed a great nights sleep in the very comfortable beds and gorgeous linens. Everything is provided and easily laid out by the owners who were extremely nice and helpful. I am already planning my next trip.

I have stayed in many self catering properties over the years but this has got to be the best.
Fantastic location, beautifully furnished and your every need considered. I was very impressed by the facilities and all the thoughtful touches by the owners, who were a pleasure to deal with and could not have been more helpful or considerate.
This is a well loved holiday home and the standard and attention to detail is evident everywhere and I cannot find fault in anyway.
I would highly recommend this property to anyone for its location, which is outstanding, it's comfort, facilities and the proximity to some wonderful locations. The lovely town of Rye and all it has to offer is right on your doorstep and this should not be missed.
