Stunning Provencal villa with large pool and shaded garden

Summer holiday rental, large villa with pool and garden in lovely unspoilt and peaceful surroundings minutes away from pretty Provencal village and Aix-en-Provence. Huge shaded garden with fully equipped pool house, fountain and 'boules 'pitch area. Numerous terraces and sitting / dining areas .Large shaded pergola. The house is built and decorated in Provencal style , recently renovated, and includes a lovely stone cottage/guest house close to the main building. All bedrooms have lovely views over trees and fields, and quality bedding. Bathrooms have large shower areas. The living quarters include a spacious and light sitting room with fireplace, double doors onto south facing terrace, a comfortable TV lounge with sofas and book cases leading out onto a conservatory area with wicker chairs and direct access to the garden, a fully equipped kitchen with all appliances and sunny dining area opening out onto front and side terraces. There is a laundry room with sink, washer and dryer .

Beaches and the stunning small harbour town of Cassis are less than 45minutes away. Avignon 1/2 hour away. Tennis locally and golf close by. The house is ideally situated for peaceful country walks and cycling/mountain biking and easy walking distance to the village through pretty lanes.

  • All bedrooms have quality beds and bedding. Travel cot available upon request. Sheets are changed weekly by house maid. There is a supplement for extra change of bedding. All bedrooms have views over garden and trees. Bedroom 4 with en-suite shower room and beamed ceiling is situated on the ground floor, slightly apart from the rest of the house and is lovely and cool in summer as well as providing extra privacy. Bedroom 2 is situated in the guest cottage, separate but close to the house. It has a very large double wrought iron bed and en suite shower room. The cottage has doors and windows facing south and east and opens out directly onto the garden. Bedroom 1 has en suite shower room, very large double bed and 2 windows facing south over pool and garden. Bedroom 3 has window facing south over pool and garden. Bedroom 5 has two single beds and faces north over trees and garden.

Swimming pool: Please note the pool is large (16m x 6m) and deep with very narrow shallow end . The pool house has a sheltered area with table and chairs, sink, hot plates refrigerator and there is a gas barbecue provided. Pool towels are provided. There is a boules pitch to the rear of the property and a full set of 'boules' are provided if guests want to try the Provencal game of 'pétanque'! There is a bicycle available on loan. The property is alarmed and it is recommended to use it at every absence, even very short. There are electric gates operated via a code panel on the outside or from the inside interphone unit.

The pool has an electric hard cover complying with safety regulations. The house is ideal for several adults wishing to relax outdoors and enjoy the best of Provence in totally peaceful and quiet surroundings with the benefit of a lovely village closeby ( walking distance)with all amenities, shops, doctors, banks ,weekly farmer's market ( Friday) and the stunning town of Aix-en-Provence only a few minutes away. Children will enjoy the freedom of the large shaded garden ( 2,5acres) and the pool but please DO NOT FORGET PARENTAL SUPERVISION FOR VERY YOUNG CHILDREN.
