Notes to the rental rates

• £100.00 Deposit payable upon booking.
  Balance of holiday due 8 weeks prior to departure plus £100 Security Bond refundable within 10 days of your departure so long as no excessive cleaning and breakages have occured and keys have been returned.
  15 euro charge to pick up keys from Reception (non refundable) subject to change by Miraflores Management.
  (If keys are not returned to Reception, this will be deducted from the Security Bond (cost of new locks).
  Charges include Maid service prior to your arrival. Any extra cleans will incur small extra charge.
  If arriving back to back with clients on a weekend date - a nominal extra charge for cleaning will be incurred as Miraflores charge an extra 50% for weekend cleans.

CLUB MIRAFLORES

From Club Miraflores, not only is it one of the best eateries in the area and ideal to celebrate any special occasion - look out, all you Romantics! Just a few words also to let you know that from the Club there is a Doctor on call, 24 hours a day, fax, computers, local newspapers, the office where you can arrange for laundry collections or ironing - there is an iron in the apartment but on holiday, it is not always at the top of the list! Excursions to Gibraltar, Tangier, boat trips etc., can all be booked via Reception. Likewise, you can book a taxi if you don't want to take the car. During high season, it is always best to book a table for dining because they get heavily booked in July and August. There are live shows outside in high season that take place on the stage adjacent to the swimming pool. The Golf Club is the hub of everything you need and car hire can also be arranged from Reception. 27th May to 7th June 08 - 10% discount!

MINUTES FROM LA CALA

LA CALA used to be a very quaint fishing village! Over the past 10 years, La Cala has become a thriving small resort that specialises in fresh fish restaurants. The beach at La Cala as with all the coast-line, is extremely flat and equally suitable for people with walking difficulties. Parking at La Cala is virtually next to the sandy beach which makes this highly accessible for the 'not so able'. This beautiful resort also proudly offers the 5* Oceana Hotel where the ladies can delightfully dress up for the evening and be totally spoilt in beautiful surroundings. The restaurant overlooks the Sea and is ideal for special celebrations such as wedding anniversaries, birthdays or even weddings! A cab from the apartment at Miraflores could only cost around 2 or 3 euros as it is very close by. In La Cala every Wednesday and Saturday there is a fantastic market that has grown from a tiny market to a huge tourist attraction! Open from early morning until 2pm. La Cala's beach is stunning!

GORGEOUS TORRENUEVA BEACH!

This beautiful beach has some 6 different restaurants within walking distance of one another. Fish, Pasta and Spanish food are all a speciality along with Sangria in abundance! There are many sunbeds available with straw umbrellas and because this beach is in a quiet location, you will still have your own space on the beach! Many of the residents drive to this beach for its tranquility. The waters are shallow and it is totally safe even for non-swimmers who can only paddle! There are water sports from this beach available and many surfers will come down early evening where the waters are not over-crowded unlike the beaches in Marbella which are very busy as soon as the sun shines. This beach also has a superb local supermarket nearby where you can purchase newspapers and it has its own butcher - you will not buy better cuts of steak anywhere on the Costas! Very reasonably priced and all fresh produce. They also sell gifts and it is set within some 6 restaurants, Chinese, Indian....

Golf Information:

Golf? This is golfers paradise second to none! Ask any golfer about the Courses in Miraflores and they will chat for hours! Green fees vary during the various seasons so please ask for details either in Reception at Miraflores or contact the owner who will be only too happy to answer any questions. You can hire golf clubs at Reception Miraflores if you do not want to bring your own - it can make life much easier! There are special discounted rates at Reception so please let the owner know in plenty of time to try and get you the best deal! Miraflores is surrounded by golf courses - just miles of gorgeous greenery. Highly popular during the early part of the year before the sun gets too hot. The 18 hole golf course is the best in the region. If you're not such a keen golfer - the area in general is beautiful for walking and just taking in the local area or just stop for a drink and watch the golfers!
