A spacious self-catering Victorian Villa offered as a summer holiday home. Conveniently situated in Hastings within minutes of the sea. Comfortably furnished the house provides a high standard of facilities. Drawing Room has an open Marble fireplace, comfortable sofas and armchairs, TV, DVD. 4 bedrooms - sleeps 7+cot + put-u-up bed for child. 1 double bedroom with bathroom en suite and orthopeadic mattress, TV. 1 double bedroom with hand basin, TV. 1 single room, TV. 1 twin room,. 1 family bathroom. Separate WC. Linen provided. No towels. The kitchen has a gas Range Stove, dishwasher, American Fridge/freezer, Microwave and comprehensive range of cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. Dining Area off the kitchen has double doors to a small terrace and the garden. Utility room/bathroom /shower with automatic washing machine and tumbler drier. Downstairs Loo. There is a BBQ and plenty of seating for eating outside in the characterful lovely garden which is completely secluded.

1066 Country - Hastings - Battle. Dover and Folkestone one hours drive. A Victorian Villa on the outskirts of Hastings with a beautiful garden and lies just 1/2 mile from the beach. Shops, pubs and restaurants 1/4 mile. See the fish being landed down at the Stade in the early morning where you can also see the unique tall weatherboarded fishermans huts where the nets are dried. Enjoy the undersea safari with seahorses, tropical sharks, stingrays & giant octopus.. Go deep into the Historic Old Town and discover numerous antique shops. Visit the Smugglers Caves with underground passages. The most famous battle in English history of the Norman Conquest took place at Battle not far away, well worth a visit. Take a trip on the Kent and Sussex Steam railway to the fairytale moated Bodiam Castle. The Railway Station is within walking distance with a good service to London for additional sightseeing purposes.

We were 8 and the house was soooooooooo confortable that we never disturbed eachother.
It's a real fancy houase, really really well agenced ; the decoration is super.
it's very quiet and very well placed in the town.
And, the owner is soooo kind and gentle.
We will go back probably next summer!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Very nice house with charm

We spent 2 weeks in this house with my family. It was a real pleasure to be in a beautiful house with all comodities, charm, decoration.
The pêrson who rents this house is really simpatical and has a very good comunication.
We were very happy, as french, to visit this country of Sussex, going to Brighton, Esatbourn, Battle, Rye and London.
Recommended for:  Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
