A home from home 17th Century cottage with rustic charm aplenty. There are two bedrooms, one with an open fire plus another open fire (formerly the bread oven) in the living room. There is a dining room/library, bathroom, loft and kitchen with a rear stable door leading to the secure, ample and sunny Secret Garden complete with fruit trees and Mulberry Bush. The cellar helps to keeps your wine chilled in summer. Getting out and about you have easy or vigorous walks and cycling options around the stunning Kent countryside, living up to the name 'the Garden of England'. The village of Groombridge dates back to the 12th Century and just across the old road from the cottage is the fantastic and famous Enchanted Gardens of Groombridge Place, the setting for the recent movie 'Pride and Prejudice'. The village has two pubs, one just 100 meters away plus church, baker's and grocer's. Next to the village cricket pitch is the working Steam Railway to take you to nearby Royal Tunbridge Wells

Other events include Hot Air Ballooning, Ferrari members club, theatre and Maypole dancing. Only 25 minutes from Gatwick but 250 years older, this is a haven in the Garden of England. Royal Tunbridge Wells is the nearest town only 5 miles away. Venture across the village green and you are into the neighbouring county of East Sussex. The old market town of Crowborough is just 8 miles away. You can reach the beach at the south coast in just 40 minutes or jump the train to London, it's only 40 minutes from Royal Tunbridge Wells. You have the chance to take the Steam Railway to Royal Tunbridge Wells.
